That was a fantastic meal. I feel great. Though is it weird that I thought the glaze could use more honey? Well I'm interested to see what happens tomorrow. I had no idea election season would be starting on top of everything else. It's sad to see there's still tension between bunnyfolk and catfolk, but I guess I have a weird perspective on it. Not only am I from another world, but every day I get to see the ones I know living in harmony. Castle Phoenix is quite a bit different than Tivera, especially given it was basically founded by outcasts and misfits.

Once again you escort Nyllia arm-in-arm down the road, this time farther along and changing streets, until the two of you reach a wide, two-storey building with the aforementioned name, "Knightly Night," written in large cursive. Yet again, you're exposed to the fancier side of Avana. The front double doors are tall, though they push open with ease into a lounge-like interior warmed by a fireplace next to violet-cushioned sofas.

Behind the counter is a dragon.

She stands properly with hands crossed before her waist. Her hair is short and brown, though there's a rich metallic sheen to the colour, matching a scaled tale behind her as well as small horns atop her head. Not unlike what Yin wears, the girl is garbed like a French maid. As soon as you enter, she greets you with a warm smile and a curtsy.

Not gold, silver, or red. I'm guessing there are quite a few different colours of dragons. From what the others have said, it seems gold and red are often considered the most powerful. I'm guessing this one is a few steps down. A dragon is still a dragon though. And I wonder if these tiers are truly important beyond status.

Her eyes are wide, and vibrant copper. "Welcome to the Knightly Night." Her voice is gentle. "We are rather low on rooms at the moment with so many people in to see the queen, but if you're looking for a place to sleep, I believe they aren't yet all filled up."

"That's fine," you say. "My name is Kyle Warren, and this is Nyllia Tesgella. We were sent by Lady Mittens."

The dragon licks her fingers and flips through the log book in front of her. "Oh! Yes. You have a room paid for by the mayor herself. You must be quite important. Apologies. Here, this is your key." After reaching below, she places it down for you to grab. "It's up the stairs, all the way at the end of the hallway. You won't miss the large letter A on the door."

You take the key in your hand. "Thank you. I appreciate it."

"Paid for as well is laundry service. Please leave anything you wish cleaned in the marked bin near your door, and somebody will retrieve it before morning and have it ready before you leave. Though if you uhm... still need p-privacy that far into night... just hang the p-provided sign on the door knob."

You look her straight in the eyes as you watch pink grow in her cheeks. "I'll do my best to be finished by then, but no promises." Then you pivot back to Nyllia, and take hold of her arm once again.

As you make your way up the stairs, Nyllia leans in to whisper, "That was cruel. She looked as if she was going to faint after hearing you say that."

"Hey. She started it."
