Trying to resist

“It’s a tradition, the MVP of the night has their right to get a lap dance from someone after the game right here,” Bryce explained to him.

Jackson was drunk but he felt bad for Miranda, still thinking about how she considered them as a couple. Although nothing was official, he knew that doing too much with someone else would break her trust, something he wasn’t ready to do.

“I’m good man,” he mumbled out, a can in his hand.

Bryce leaned in with a concerned look on his face and whispered to him, “You aren’t gay, are you?”

Jackson looked at him with a bit of surprise. He didn’t know it but the comment was just another way of Bryce toying with him.

“No, no, nothing wrong with that if you are, we can get you a man to do the job if that was the case,” he said.

Jackson laughed, “No dude, I’m just sort of kind of seeing someone right now.”

Throughout this whole time that he had actually been on campus, he hasn’t slept with anyone but Miranda. It would be a slap to the face for her to abuse her trust.

Shay was in front of him, looking down at the footballer with hungry eyes. She leaned down and grabbed a hold of his knees, “What are you worried about? Everything that happens here stays here, we can even go upstairs for some privacy.”

Bryce on his side smirked, slapping Jackson on the chest before pointing at Shay, “What she said brother.”

“Look… I’m kind of fucked but I think I’m happy just to chill tonight,” he told them both.

Shay looked at Bryce as if to ask him what to do now. He didn’t have any response yet, he was beginning to think that he wasn’t going to be able to crack Jackson.

Mark turned away, happy that his cousin had chosen not to go too deep down the rabbit hole with another girl. Unfortunately for them, Jackson had distracted him in keeping an eye out for Dixon.

The corner that Dixon and his friends were in, was now empty, he searched the whole place but Dixon was missing.

They had lost track of him.
