Trying out Taurbording

A new sport was becoming popular called Taurbording. The main premise was a centaur towing a humanoid on a skateboard around a course.

You had very little skill on a skateboard, but Marnie wanted to give it a try. You agreed to help hold the rope as Marnie and Barndy did not want to commit to the proper equipment if things didn't turn out. You got hold of a skateboard, some rope, and a helmet. You got up on Brandy's back and held the rope out behind her. Marnie was basically kneeling on the skateboard, except she had her tail instead of knees. With the real equipment, she would be strapped to an off-road board, but this would have to do for a test.

Brandy set off gently down the road. You now lived all together in a nice neighborhood with trees running between the road and the pavement. Most of the residents were taurs of some kind, due to the houses being designed with larger body plans in mind. So it was quite common for the road to be empty. Most residents would run or walk to work or into town. You felt the rope pull taught as you started to tow Marnie.

"It's working, It's working." Marnie did her best impression of young Anakin with the podracer.

Brandy picked up the pace. You had to grip with your knees as you held onto the rope with Brandy's help. You were mostly enjoying the fact you were riding Brandy this time.

"Woh, slow down." Marnie screamed.

"Woo this is fun!" Brandy shouted.

"I'm going to fall!" Marnie whaled drematicaly.

"Stop being dramatic. You're safe, we've got you." You replied.

Brandy did slow a little, then did a loop of the block. That worked out great. I think we should get some real gear and head to the field for some of road practice.

"I would like a bit more on-road practice first." Marnie replied. "But there is the big sporting event coming up. We should enter. We already plan to enter both the individual and relay triathlons."

"Sounds like a plan." Brandy replied.
