Try your absurd plan

Zoe eventually nodded. "Okay... yes, okay. I think this could work, so we should try it." She looks up at the clone-Ela body, to speak directly to you. "Are you sure you can handle being me--this old, entire version of me--without issue?"

You placed a hand lightly on Zoe's cheek. "With all my elastomer, I can manage. I've got a lot more that I'm moving into position now to make this happen." You then look over at Chloe. "We need a secure, safe space with about the size of a football field, what might be suitable?"

Chloe tapped her chin, and then snapped her fingers. "There's a tunnel on the bottom basement floor of the labs that lead into a space that is supposed to be transformed into some really top-secret project in the next five years. They were planning something big there, but funding halted last year, and last I heard it's just a giant cavern for now. Wanna check it out, see if it suits your needs?"

"Yeah, I think so." You looked back to Zoe. "I'm gonna take you over fully again, since once we find a suitable spot I'm getting right to work.

Zoe shuddered, and nodded. "Do as you like, if this really works then I'll owe you my life anyway." Without hesitation, you opened Zoe's body up, unfurling the tendrils of her form, and your Ela-clone slipped into the wearable portion of Zoe's form. When you sealed up, you stood up and stretched. All the signs of the overwhelmed, flustered Zoe were gone, and only your smiling personality shone through her body. With some of your elastomer, you quickly formed a replica of her outfit for roaming around Hideki, and then looked to Chloe again.

Chloe still seemed rather hesitant about this whole idea, you could tell by the look in her eyes. "While I would like to trust that Ela side of you knows what she's doing, this whole plan feels very... elaborate, for something on one's first day of full consciousness. I appreciate your ambition, but if something happens to Zoe..."

"The only thing that will happen is she'll get what she wanted." You turn to Chloe, and wrap your arms around her. "I don't want to hurt someone responsible for my existence like how it is now. And the same is true for you. But... if you are concerned, I will give you veto power. When I put this plan into motion, your slime is free to give me a thorough examination and should there be any inconsistencies with my plan, I will use my elastomer to revert everything back to its original state."

Satisfied for the moment, Chloe leads you to the elevator, the two of you boarding. Chloe doesn't hit the bottom basement button though--she slides the Fire Control panel to the side, and scans her badge to the reader that was contained there. You watch curiously--this area is so secret that it has hidden access methods?

After reaching the bottom basement level, the elevator pauses, as a whining sound is heard outside. "They installed a movable barrier under the last publicly-known floor so if anyone were to look, it would seem like they had reached the bottom. Takes a moment to move."

Eventually the elevator starts moving again, yet it feels like reaching the bottom of this secret basement was the same length as the other basement floors combined. The elevator doors opened up, and lights began to flicker on in the distance in the presence of visitors. You and Chloe step out, surveying the large space--mostly filled with floodlights and idle construction equipment, which had at one point been drilling into the bedrock that builds this giant cavernous space. You glanced around to see boxes stacked high--likely crates full of machines that were meant to be installed for whatever the purpose was down here. "There's no way Hideki creates a space like this without having some big plans to fill it..." you said quietly.

"There are definitely things even Zoe and I don't have clearance to see," Chloe said, as she peered into one of the open boxes to see some machinery she didn't recognize. "My security clearance only went so far as to give me access to this space as a whole, but from what I remember hearing, they will wall off some of these areas eventually and whatever goes on behind those walls will be top secret stuff, like some of the upper floors. Whatever this is supposed to be came from orders from the CEO himself, and you know that when the CEO gets involved in a project, it must be not just a big deal, but something possibly life-changing."

You and Chloe survey the whole space, making sure there weren't any surprises to deal with right off the bat--security cameras were not yet installed anywhere, so you had privacy. The size looked about right... it looked like the kind of cavernous void where one might meet an Eldritch god... or goddess, in your case, as you were planning to fit that bill shortly.

"I think I'm ready to begin. This space will be a bit lonely, so I do hope you'll visit me?" You ask Chloe.

Chloe grinned. "Are you kidding? Let you do some crazy plan and just leave you alone? I wouldn't dare. Now, how long are you thinking you'll be done here?"

"Not sure... a month? Two? It will take time to do this, and interruptions could be a big problem."
