Try to talk your way out of it

As soon as the words leave Chad’s mouth a sense of dread washes over you, Chad is volatile at the best of times and now he has found you standing over his wrecked car

“Look Chad I can explain” you stammer not daring to turn around and look at him, partly paralysed by fear and partly to Obscure the ray gun from Chad’s view

“Explain then you worthless little shit” he orders his voice seething with rage “Explain to me why my car has been smashed up and you are the only one here standing over it”

Panic begins to set in as the situation escalates you begin to rush to explain “I don’t know what happened I heard a crash and found your car like this, I think some sort of meteor hit it, Chad I swear I didn’t do anything to your car” you plead despite knowing how ridiculous you sound

Chad chuckles as words tumble out of your mouth in a desperate stream “You seriously expect me to believe my car was hit by a meteor, do you think I’m a fucking retard” he laughs in a way you know all too well, it’s not a laugh of amusement it’s a laugh steeped in sadism watching you squirm while at his mercy. Mercy he never grants

“You know I almost thought you grew a pair John. It takes some balls to smash up my car, but trying to weasel your way out of it reminds me how much of a pussy you are, you’re fucking pathetic” Chad sneers

Your fingers begin to twitch as you bring the ray gun closer to you while Chad continues his monologue of threats “when I am done with you John you will be in hospital for months, and while you’re there unable to move I will fuck your mom right over your hospital bed, first she will do it just to cover the bill, but after experiencing a real man she will do it just to spite what a pathetic worthless son she has, and you will be stuck there watching every second as I turn your mom into my personal slut”

You know that you can’t take Chad in a fight. you know you can’t run away either, Chad is too close and would chase you down in seconds.

While your brain is processing options you find your fingers twitching instinctively against the metallic handle of the ray gun, it looks too much like a toy to threaten him with directly and you still have no idea how it works it could just explode in your hand but concealed it looks just enough like a real gun to maybe get him to back off
