Try to sneak in.

It'd be best if she doesn't know you got in at all, and since she's busying herself with organising medicine, you have a definite opportunity to get in and out silently right now. Well, so long as the door is not a loud door. You're not sure if it is. Hopefully not.

You sllowwwly push your hand down on the door handle, and ever-so-gently push it open. She's facing away right now, so you don't have to worry about how much time you spend making movements or how obvious they are, just that you don't make noise and get her attention.

...and you're in! It's that easy! Good job, Debbie, you're fantastic. Now for closing the door, which is going to be really tricky to do without making noise. You shoot a glance over to Nurse Riley. She puts another pillbox into the drawer, humming quietly to herself. You're in the clear, so- wait, what was that? Argh! She just pushed the drawer shut! That means she's finished with the medicine boxes she was holding!

You let go of the door and sprint as quickly as you can to the middle of the room, where you can crouch behind the little bed that's set up for when people come in here sick. The door swings shut on its own without you there to stop it, hitting against the doorframe with a loud BANG that you're sure startles Nurse Riley. You don't dare peek over the bed to check. It isn't that important in the grand scheme of things.

"Oh my." You hear her say, breathing out like after a sharp inhale of surprise. There's a pause, and then you hear her slow clacking footsteps as she walks over toward the door to check it out.

From behind the bed, you have a direct line of sight to her as she bends slightly at the hips to investigate the door and give the handle a little testing jiggle. Which also means she'd have a direct line of sight to you, if she was facing the right direction. Ah!

You quickly crawl around to hide behind the head of the bed instead, and peek your head over the top to look at her. She stands up straight again, moves her head to look over the glass in and around the door to make sure none of it is broken, then sighs and turns. You quickly duck back behind the bed again. When she starts clacking her way back to the boxes and drawers, picking up her quiet humming again, you're careful to crawl around to the side again in time with where the clacks and hums are coming from, to make sure she never has a line of sight to you.

Phew.... that was close. That was too close!

You catch your breath and peer over the top of the bed again, to see that Nurse Riley is happily back to work organising boxes into drawers. It looks like you're all good, for now -- s-so long as nobody walks through the hallway behind you, which you're separated from by a glass wall. No, that won't happen, you're definitely safe!

Still, you shouldn't wait around too long and test it. You steady yourself and set your mouth determinedly. You've got to get to that shelf of brown glass bottles in the corner, without drawing her attention, which probably means crawling under the desk that sits in front of it. You have tons of desk-crawling experience from your youth, so this will be a piece of cake. You just have to not get seen, and not take too long!
