Sara

There is no other way to contact Sara than with a personal message at a message board. You are not sure if she will actually read this, and it is in every way a very anonymous and impersonal way of communicating. As you type your message, you wonder how you can convince her that you yourself are not a dangerous person associated with the Happy Maid company who is hiding behind a fake personality. You type and delete several introductions. Every time you try to write something honest and convincing, it sounds as if it's a made up lie.

Wow, this is a real challenge.

You finally settle with a message that asks for help but at the same time emphasizes that you don't want to meet her, and you'd totally understand if she does not answer you. You talk about yourself, about your fear, and that you have absolutely no clue what's going on, and as she apparently feels similar, maybe it would be helpful to team up - at least virtually.

It still sounds like something somebody who wants to lure Sara out would write, but you can't help it. You are caught in the entaglement of endless bluffs and double bluffs, and there is no way out. After you sent the PM, you continue your research a bit, and are surprised when you see that Sara has replied.

Does that make her suspicious?

[How do you know I am what I seem?], the message reads.

[I don't know], you answer. [But I fear that if I stay alone, they somehow catch me anyway. I am frightened.]

As you type those words, you realize that you really are. Fear has gripped you. The fear that the world around you is not any longer what it seemed to be. The fear that somebody is luring you into a gigantic trap. And, most of all, the fear that when you are under the influence of whatever made you behave like you did these past days - you don't even know. They completely control your mind, your actions. They change your personality. They turn you into a sex crazed woman.

And at those moments - you enjoy it!

[I know what you mean], reads the new message from Sara. [I feel the same. Yesterday, somebody tried to make contact, but I was too frightened. He seemed too friendly, too soothing, too clever. It didn't feel right. Shall we meet in a neutral place? With a lot of people? I name the street and you name the café or the bar. Or do you want to do it vice versa?]

You both finally agree on a meeting place, tonight.

Both of you also assure the other that you still might back out in the last moment.
