Try to bolt before he can bind her

Anneke knows she has little time to escape before she’s bound in this cretin’s home. She scrambles, trying to slice her way out of the bedroll to give her some extra time.

She takes him by surprise with her sudden burst of movement. The bedroll is in tatters, but she has her dagger and an opening to run for the door.
