Try To Escape

You realise that right now is the best chance you are going to have to escape from this place. You can’t know what kind of shape you will be in this time tomorrow.

You slowly pull yourself upright, pain throbs through your body from your muscles but it is not so bad that you can’t keep moving. In the gloom you run your hands over your body to survey the damage.

You seem to have gotten off pretty lucky all things considered, feeling between your legs you find no evidence that anyone took advantage of you whilst you were out. That actually kind of annoys you, if they had spent themselves in you whilst you were out you could have at least gotten something out of all this. Instead you got nothing but a sore head and some cuts and scrapes.

Looking around in the dim light from the dying fires you can see that the cave is actually pretty large, from here you can make out what looks like a dozen small clusters of sleeping Kobolds. They seem to all sleep in heaps, much the same as your own Clan had slept during the winters.

You can’t see any way out of the cave but since the wall behind you seems to be the end of the cave you figure if you just keep moving forward you should be able to out eventually.

You are surprised to find the door to your cage is held in place only by a thin strip of bark. It hardly takes you a second to have the door unlocked. You hardly glance back at the Sister of Man in her own cell. Even if she was not twice the size of you, you really don’t see any reason why you should bother putting your skin on the line for her.

In your experience when a Sister of Man is attacked then Men will always follow to kill the attackers. You really don’t want to be anywhere near this place when that happens.

Pushing open the door to the cage you begin to move out.
