What's next?

I got up, pulling on my clothes, while Lexi did the same.

"So, this is kind of a lot, so promise me you won't freak out."

"Whatever it is, I'm sure I can handle it."

"You say that now but... oh screw it. Here's the truth. My name is Lucas Valentine, and yes, before you ask, like the Valentines. See, I was so very fortunate as to be born without magic, so, you know, that made for a great childhood. Anyway, on my 18th birthday, I made a deal with a demon for magic powers. Her name is Samara, and she's actually cool, she's not all evil and stuff. Also, I've been falling into an extradimensional void sometimes and I met a dragon."

She looked at me blankly for a moment.

"Wha- What? You... you lied to me for months?! You've been working for a demon for months? What the hell is wrong with you?!"

"Well, I didn't technically lie about the whole demon stuff, and you never actually asked what my name was, so technicall-"

She stood up, her expression contorting into an angry glare. If looks could kill, she'd have killed me then and there.

"You asshole."

"Ahem."

Lexi turned around to see Samara, in her human form.

"WHO IN THE HELLS ARE YOU?"

"The name's Samara, and inside voices, please."

"Wait, you're the demon he was talking about?"

"Yep."

She took a step back and looked between the two of us.

"I am so done with this."

She turned on her heel, marching towards the door. With a sigh, Samara snapped her fingers, and Lexi disappeared with a pop.

"Wait here Lucas, she and I are gonna have a girl talk. Shouldn't take more than half an hour."

She gave me a quick peck on the cheek.

"Oh, and when someone sees a tattoo located right above your ass, the most suspicious thing you can say is that it isn't a tramp stamp."

She disappeared with a pop.

Significantly longer than 30 minutes later

After way longer than it should reasonably have taken, the girls reappeared, now giggling about something, probably something embarrassing about me.

"Well, Lucas, after an illuminating conversation, I have decided not to break up with you."

"Damn, really? You were hella mad."

Samara put a hand over her chest in mock outrage.

"Hey, I'm a very convincing person when I want to be. I mean, I did convince Lucas to sell me his soul."

"I just work for you, you don't get my soul."

"I know, just let me pretend I'm like a real demon."

I rolled my eyes, and she poofed back to the hells, leaving me and Lexi alone.

"So, what did you two talk about?"

"That, dear Lucas, is for me to know, and you to wonder about."

"I see how it is."

"Good."

"Anyway, what do you think of her? I know she can be a bit much."

"Dude, she is so hot, what the hell?"

I laughed.

"I didn't realize you swung that way, Lex."

"Have you seen her? I'd swing any way she wanted me to."

"Are you really talking about how hot someone is to your boyfriend?"

"Oh shut up, you hit that on several occasions."

"Oh gods, did she really tell you that?"

"Don't worry, she said you were very talented."

"Ugh, she has no concept of privacy."

"Yeah, isn't it great?"

"You know, if she's telling you all my secrets, maybe you can tell me yours."

"Soon."

"But not now?"

"Mhm."

"Cool, that's totally cool."

"Good. Wanna have some more sex?"

"Really, even though you know Samara's going to be getting off to it?"

"Even more so because of that."

"What have I gotten myself into?"

What's next?
