Trouble

I look in front of me and see Myla and Hino. Both have a metal collar on and are chained by the ankle to the floor. fortunately, after using Observe I see that they are mostly fine, they're just a bit roughed up.

"Dad!" I hear Myla yell. Kallen steps forward toward her when liquid gold surround the two.

"No you don't." The Golden Devil says appearing next to Myla. "It took you long enough. I got so bored waiting. Huh! Eric! You came. I've been thinking of you y'know! I have so many fun games we can play!"

"What do you want?" Kallen yells.

"That was rude, interrupting me while I was talking to Eric. Anyway what I want is a non-aggression pact. You two and your guilds have been a real pain in the ass an I'd like it to stop." The Golden Devil walks up to Myla saying this. "Or else, well I've always wondered if I can heat my gold up enough to burn someone." I see Kallen clench his fists. "But since I don't have a Sensor I'll kill one of these two as an example and keep the other for insurance. The first one of you two to accept won't have to watch your child die. Oh and no talking, you've got one minute before I kill them both." He says.

Well what do we do!? I hear Sugano think.

We can rush him, try to get there faster than he can attack. Kallen thinks.

No Kallen, we're to far. We can't just teleport to him. Now calm down! Kagiyama shouts.

But we ne... I interrupt Kallens thoughts.

How long do you need? To get to him? I think

What do you mean? Asks Sugano.

_There's_ no time to explain. Can any of you get to him in two seconds?

Yes I can but he'll attack by then. Kagiyama replies.

Good, Kagiyama pretend to accept his deal. The moment he attacks Myla charge him. Please trust me. I think taking a deep breath.

"Okay, I accept." Kagiyama says stepping forward and putting his hands up. The Golden Devil laughs.

"Kagiyama!" I hear Kallen shout.

"I'm sorry my friend, I really am. But I don't have a choice." We're interrupted by a scream from Myla as the Golden Devil raises his left hand, liquid gold dripping. I grab the MP potion from my pocket and pour it into my mouth careful not to swallow while the Devil's looking away. I cast Swap on me and Myla for 78 MP. The moment I do I cast Ancient Beastial Strength and Dark Claws followed by swallowing and casting Ancient Beast Slash. The slash is to much for the Golden Devil, who wasn't expecting an attack, and it hits him knocking him back about 10 feet.

All is silent for a moment with Kagiyama and Kallen quickly getting to my side. I have my other hand ready to recast and the Golden Devil slowly rises to his feet.

"WHERE DID YOU LEARN THAT MAGIC!" The Golden Devil shouts. He steps forward and has liquid gold dripping from his entire body.

"Sorry, that's my little secret." I smile and taunt. He raises his hand and fires his own slash attack. Kagiyama swings his sword and a slash of water appears and travels through the air. The two spells meet in air and explode. Kallen and Kagiyama rush through the smoke created while Sugano and Myla join me and Hino. I hear Myla ask something but I tune her out, focusing on the sounds I'm hearing from the smoke. Suddenly Kallen comes barreling through and Sugano catches him with a wave of water. Kallen gets back up when I see Kagiyama get tossed out the side. I ready my hands and see the Golden Devil rush me. Sugano steps in front of me and creates a wall of water. He raises his hand and slashes through it hitting her and sending her to the ground, tumbling a few feet away. I Multicast two Ancient Beastial Slashes on top of each other. I see him quickly raise his hands to block, unprepared fir it and shocked I had enough mana for more.

The devil gets tossed back, both his arms getting torn off. He screams in pain before creating a ball of liquid gold and vanishing. I sigh relieved before remembering Sugano got hit good. I rush over to her and freeze. She's laying in a pool of blood, barely breathing.
