Trip to the Palace

Kori looked at MJ with concern, saying ”You are on Tamaran. You didn't know?“

MJ shrugged, responding ”Well, it's kind of complicated, but somehow I was, what's the word, teleported here, and I don't know how to go back.“

Kori's concern only grew, ”By X'Hal, you are fortunate that I happened to be nearby. Any number of creatures might have attacked you by now.”

“I figured,” MJ said, making sure not to let her anxiety show.

Kori quickly grabbed MJ's hand, saying “Come with me, I insist you stay at the palace.”

Startled, MJ said, “I-I don't know.”

”Please,“ Kori pleaded, looking into her eyes, ”I want to help.“

MJ turned away for a moment, thinking to herself. On one hand, I literally just met this woman. She could be trying to trick me, or something. On the other hand...

MJ looked back into Kori's strange, beautiful eyes, and oddly she felt like she could trust her. ”Okay, what the hell?“ she said.

Kori smiled, saying ”Wonderful. Now, just hold on.“ She then took MJ into her arms, pulling her close, and slowly got off the ground. For a moment, MJ was scared and quickly got a hold on Kori. Thankfully, Kori reassured her, saying ”Do not worry, I have you.“

With that, Kori took to the alien skies, keeping a good grip on her human companion. MJ could hardly believe it: she was actually flying, with a beautiful alien princess no doubt. She tried to focus on the strange landscape as the two headed towards a nearby city...
