Tries to run

Mira knew she was struggling to understand everything. Her body had been corrupted by the demon that had captured her. It was all too evident that Aleira was even more lost than she was. Battle tactics training took over; the paladin knew she had to retreat, regroup and ex-examine the situation.

"Hmmm..." she studied the sexy Jasmine, letting her fingers explore her own body while her eyes took in the former priest, "I like what I see." Mira knew she wasn't lying. She was, however, hoping to distract Marus.

Her chance came quickly. Marus steepled his fingers together, smiled and closed his eyes - perhaps to imagine the two women together. In that second, while Marus' eyes were closed, Mira turned and fled back towards the corridors.

The ground betrayed her. The paladin heard Marus chuckle and then felt the floor swing open below her feet. A pit trap? Some magic? It didn't matter. Mira fell through the darkness and landed with a thumb in a large clump of dirty hay.

Mira looked around. It was dark down here but some glowing stones set in the ceiling cast some light. The trap door or whatever had opened to swallow her had closed. The walls were large stone brick. The floor covered in debris. Four tunnels stretched off in different directions. Instinctively, Mira knew she had landed in some sort of labyrinth. She doubted she was alone down here.
