Trevor confronts Maddie about her writing

Chapter 3 by bartolimieu07 bartolimieu07

I'm vegging out in the living room watching some random Netflix special when I hear the front door open. Trevor must be back from his morning classes. The moment he walks through the entryway, I spring from the couch and attack, wrapping him in a massive hug. He reciprocates, one hand cupping my butt while the other cops a feel of my bare left tit.

I moan in appreciation. "Hope advanced macro isn't kicking your ass too badly, master," I say.

"Not today at least. But enough of the 'master' shit." He steps back to regard me, a little warily, and I can tell there's something else on his mind.

"What is it?" I ask, not beating around the bush.

Trevor pulls a tablet from his satchel and holds it up. "Look familiar?"

"Ohhh...yeah." I startle as I recognize the familiar website. "How did you find this?"

"The browser history, of course. Anything you'd like to talk about?"

"Well, I get bored, cooped up in here most of the time. I needed a creative outlet!"

"You wrote out your life story. On a porn site," he says flatly.

"It's not the kind of subject matter that would fly elsewhere. And I changed all the names," I respond a little defensively.

"I saw that. 'Trevor'? Makes me sound like some dudebro frat wannabe." Trevor shrugs his shoulders. "Honestly, I'm not really upset. I guess I just wish you'd told me what you were doing."

"Sorry. Writing it all down like that, reliving those memories... It was something deeply personal for me. I've told you bits and pieces, but not...not the whole thing. I wasn't ready to share."

"So you shared with the whole internet instead?" He sighs. "It was anonymous. I suppose I understand. In any case, Miss Writer, now you've got critics to deal with."

"I do, huh?" I swipe to the appropriate page. "Oh, right. I saw some other examples of this before."

"Who is Gambio?" asks Trevor, peering over my shoulder.

"Another writer on the site. Likes to do these reviews as some sort of Socratic dialogue between two characters, Marcie and Gina. Dunno much besides that. Into weeb shit."

"So am I."

I shake my head. "Not the same thing at all... What else to say about Gambio? They appear to be locked in eternal struggle with their greatest nemesis, the letter 'H'." I drop my voice. "Also, I think they might be Swiss!"

"Quelle horreur!" says Trevor mockingly. "With enemies at least, you know where you stand, but the Swiss...who knows?"

"Anyway, I guess I should look at the criticism. You can, too, if you want. But we need to address any response to Marcie and Gina, not Gambio."

"Why? Aren't they fictional characters?" asks Trevor.

I let the silence hang over us.

"...Are we fictional characters?" he continues.

"In this context, let's say 'yes'. That's what anyone looking at this site sees after all--a fictional story." We share a pained glance. "Let's get to it."

REVIEW OF THE REVIEW IN PROGRESS (BGM)

"What's this about other paths?"

I blush. "It was something I wanted to try out. Alternate realities. Alternate Madisons. Think about what could have happened if my parents had chosen differently, if I hadn't gone with Juliette and Kacey to Seduisante that fateful day."

"That sounds...unhealthy. In your ideal alternative life, you would have ended up enslaved instead as a...cow?"

"Hardly. Look, it's just fiction. Once I'd gotten my story out, I wanted to try some more explicitly fictional concepts. And good fiction requires suffering, conflict, resolution."

"Alright, geez... Overall, Marcie and Gina liked your story a lot. Well, at least Marcie seemed to. Gina kept rambling on and on about sharks."

"I'm...not even sure how to respond to that. Did she want to see me transformed into a shark? How is that plausible?"

"Yeah, I think we can skip past that. She does raise an interesting point, though, about why you never tried to bite Aidan's dick off, or murder one of the other fuckers making your life an utter hell."

I think about it. "The temptation was there, certainly. I guess...I'm rational to a fault. What would the fleeting satisfaction of such defiance have gained me? Nothing worth the torment to follow, I'm sure, if I wasn't summarily put down on the spot. Every moment with this fucking collar around my neck, I never had any real chance to escape or retaliate. If such an opportunity had come around, I like to think I'd have taken it." I laugh bitterly. "In the end, I just decided I wanted to live. And it hasn't turned out badly."

"Still a pet. And under the control of a 'pervert'."

"Ah, you saw that bit."

"I swear I haven't had a choice. Your collar is tamper-proof, and even if it weren't, the government requires you to be wearing it and behaving appropriately as a pet. We would both be in some serious shit if you got caught without it."

"Hey, hey, it's okay. You're my 'pervert'." I smile fondly at Trevor. "And I know you don't exactly dislike the sight I'm forced to present. In fact--" My hand cups the crotch of his pants, feeling his penis stiffen beneath the fabric. "Right on schedule! I'll have to do something about that once we're done here."

"Is there anything else to discuss? In summary, I think their main takeaway was the sheer cruelty of so many of the people you encounter, and the misery that surrounds everything. And how out-of-left-field it all feels, contrasted with that initial chapter."

I smile wanly. "Then I successfully conveyed my experiences with my words." Shifting slightly, I begin unbuttoning Trevor's pants. "And I share their confusion about why all of this happened. We both do."

"They included the X Files theme as background music, so clearly they think it must be aliens." Trevor groans slightly as I extract his cock and pump it with my hand. "We never have figured out the real reason most everyone's lost their goddamned minds. Ever felt tempted to look into it?"

I shake my head before licking his tip, tasting the salt of his precum. "Why look for trouble, especially now that I've ended up in a relatively happy place, here with you?" I suck his cock a little more before pulling back to look up into his loving eyes. "I may not have found all the answers, but speaking of alternate Madisons--maybe there's one out there right now, stumbling into the truth..."
