What next?
Traversing the wasteland.
After many hours of walking through the Pits, Desmond had set Evelynn onto Big Red, as she felt the soft fur of his pet, and for the first ever, she’d met a tiger, and a monstrously large one, at that.
After that, the group had made it leaps and bounds further, as they reached the village of Manteno. And, throughout the whole journey, Big Red had released many mighty roars, all for inducing fear, leading many creatures and human foes to avoid them.
But, many other such opponents hadn’t heeded the threats, quickly becoming one of many meals for Big Red and Desmond himself.
As the group had traveled the many miles of their journey, Desmond had noticed a Vault-Tec logo from a few hundred meters away.
As the trio began approaching the building, they reached an obscure Vault, labeled, ‘47-OE’, walked around the border of the building, finding a loading dock door, and began to attempt to rip the metal sheets from the bottom, and after a moment straining, the rail lurched upwards, as the door opened fully.
Desmond then had Big Red scout out the building, as Desmond himself looked out for Evelynn, protecting her from any dangers that may appear.
After an hour, Big Red emerged from the Vault, a maw dripping with blood, as the group entered the building, making their way towards a somehow still working elevator, as Desmond pressed the button, waited a minute, and then, the door opened, revealing a large freight elevator, large enough for even Big Red to fit, as they filled the elevator to the brim, pressing the lowest the floor, and then, the elevator began descending, going down tens of floors in a few seconds.
After twenty seconds of descending in the elevator, the door slowly slid open, as Desmond walked forth from it, leaving Big Red to protect Evelynn, as he slowly slinking through the building, grabbing a discarded sledgehammer from the ground, as he looked around the room, his supernatural sight giving him basically what equated to night vision, as he silently scouted the Vault’s lowest floor.
But, as he was about to call it all clear, he heard Big Red roar a pained roar, drawing Desmond to race back to the elevator, as he saw a giant wolf biting down on Red’s neck, drawing blood from the mighty tiger for the first time he’d ever seen.
So, as Desmond was overcome with rage, he leapt onto the back of the wolf, and began wrenching its neck, leading the wolf to withdraw its teeth, as it started thrashing about in his grasp, leaving Red to recover for a moment, as his flesh was being mended before his eyes.
But Desmond couldn’t really care about that right now, as the wolf tore itself from his grasp, and took a bite into his shoulder, drawing a pained screech from Desmond’s maw, as he, in turn, thrashed about from the immeasurable pain from the toothy maw of the wolf.
Desmond grabbed the muzzle of the wolf, and began tearing it from his shoulder, holding the lower jaw, as well, as he strained with all his might, a bloodcurdling roar was leased, as Desmond’s fingers dug into the teeth, drawing blood from each and every gash, as he began prying open the toothy maw of the wolf.
And after a moment of blood drawing actions, the jaw of the wolf began reaching the limits of how far it could stretch, and with one final roar, Desmond tore the jaw from the wolf’s maw, leaving its blood to pool from the massive wound, as it whimpered while trying to scamper away, but Big Red wouldn’t let it get away.
So, after a few momentary screeches and cries, the wolf was eaten by Big Red, as Desmond looked around the Vault, finding many cages, which had been crushed open by the wolf, and their previous occupant’s fates were truly obvious, as well as the staff of the Vault.
Nothing but discarded bones, each and every one thoroughly chewed through, as the Vault was essentially a kennel.

Fallout: Another Irradiated Revenant
The Super Mutant
Desmond Scorch was experienced in the art of war, and all the way up to October 23rd, 2076, he'd been a showpiece for the acts of war, and all his glory and valor were the prime example of why war worked, despite Desmond's own disdain for every medal he'd ever gained. Will Desmond survive the bombs? Will he survive the distrust at his new, irradiated appearance? Will he survive the fall, the disgusting degradation the apocalyspe will inevitably bring? Who knows. But the journey to find out will be glorious, and filled with many delights, and of course, war, because, as you very much know, war never changes.
