The moment Aki had healed enough to move, she took off at a sprint and ran towards the flattened area of destroyed trees. Immediately she began to heal the wounds of her familiar with a few tears.

She hugged into his massive size, sobbing softly as his body began to disappear into glittery light.... leaving instead a little boy of maybe ten years old in her arms. He was badly injured but she kept healing him until his eyes cracked open weakly and he nuzzled into her.
