Training and meeting Fuji

After a night where he learned about how his body can interact with the opposite gender, Jon woke early and left to get started on learning about the land and this new body. He felt uncomfortable being by himself, but Sakura wasn't getting up anytime soon. The sound of combat drew his attention, and soon Jon entered a courtyard where several brothers and sisters were strewn across the ground at the feet of Summer's Snowflake. She turned to him and smiled. "I thought we wouldn't see you before breakfast due to the sounds that came from your room late into the night. It is good to see you ready for training." Jon chuckles nervously, "Sorry about that. I found out more features of my body last night. I also feel like I have more energy than I did previously."

Summer smiled and said, "We have prepared a schedule for you to split between physical and mental training, including history of the lands. Come, we break our fast and welcome you to our table." "Thank you, Master Summer. I am curious about a young woman I saw on my way to my room yesterday. I am simply curious about her" Jon described the woman he saw and where he saw her to the Master of training. "That is interesting, as that is Fuji, the spirit of a sword we protect. She is waiting for her true wielder, prophesied to have dragon bloood in their veins. We will allow you to try her, once you get far enough in training." Jon nods and continues to essentially escort the master to the dining hall.

After drinking some tea for breakfast, Jon begins practicing hand to hand combat with his claws. After a few hours, with pauses for hydration, he starts learning the basics of using a katana. An hour into that, his wife showed up. She started giving him advice, and correcting his stances. Jon blushed every time she decided to physically correct him, which earned giggles from the monks watching. A break for lunch, which again Jon only drank juice, and mental studies were called for. Sakura and a few female monks taught him history of the land and etiquette that Jon would need to figure out what to do for his mission.

After a few months, Summer's Snowflake felt Jon was ready to try wielding Fuji's blade. Several monks armed heavily lead both Jon and Summer to the vault. After a few moments, the door opened and Jon walked into the room. Only a single blade was in the room. It was on a plain loooking stand and was on a small pedestal in the plain room. Jon grasped the scabbard and lifted it off the stand. He drew the blade, and the blade came free with little resistance and the young woman appeared next to him. "Master! I've been waiting for you for forever. Thank you for coming for me," Fuji blathers, excited to finally leave this place.
