Traditions Part 2

After an almost five hour flight from Los Angeles, California to Honolulu, Hawaii plus another long flight from there to Guam Pia steps off the plane. It’s around 4:00 pm local time on Monday, September 18th, 2017. Tomorrow is Pia’s 21st birthday and the day she’ll begin to honor an old family tradition.

She is currently wearing a tank top, shorts, and a bikini underneath. Also, she is wearing a pair of flip-flops. She has no carry on luggage nor checked luggage.

So once she goes through customs she leaves the airport and is picked up by her waiting mom and her little sister Paloma.

Once Pia has buckled up her mom pulls out of the airport pickup lane and they head home.

As they drive home Pia’s mom and sister ask Pia how she’s been since the last time they were all together.

Pia replies

“I’ve been great. I’ve written about half a dozen or so new songs that I plan to go into the studio to record after this year long vacation. Also I’ve scheduled a few songs to be released in the meantime. Basically one a month for the next 12 months until I return to Los Angeles.”

To which Pia’s mom says

“That’s a smart decision Pia.”

Pia then asks her little sister Paloma how she’s been doing.

Paloma replies

“I’m great sis. I’m so glad you’re home now.”

To which Pia replies

“As am I sis. But remember I’ll only be home for a few hours. Because tonight at midnight I will be entering the jungle to honor our heritage as descendents of the rain forest.”

Paloma replies

“Can we at least hang out until then though ?”

To which Pia replies

“Of course we can. Here’s what I’m planning to do when we get home. First I’m going to take a shower, then I’m going to take a nap until 7:00 pm or so. Then you and I can do whatever you want to do until it’s time for me to leave or mom makes you go to bed. How’s that sound ?”

Paloma happily replies

“Yay !!! I’m so excited !!!”

A few moments later Pia’s mom pulls into the garage , parks the car and turns off the motor.

“We’re home girls. Pia , leave your dirty clothes in the hamper and then you can take your shower and nap after.”

Pia reluctantly replies

“But mom , the only clothes I have are the ones I’m wearing. If I put them in the hamper now I’ll have to enter the house and walk all the way upstairs to the bathroom naked and barefoot.”

To which her mom replies

“I don’t see a problem with that. It’s just you , me and Paloma here right now. Plus it will save you a trip to bring them back here to the hamper.”

Seeing her mom’s point Pia says

“Fine mom. I’ll do it your way.”

To which her mom replies

“Good girl Pia.”

Pia’s mom and sister then enter the house leaving Pia alone in the garage / laundry room.

Not wanting to waste any more time Pia quickly steps out of her flip flops, pulls her tank top over her head, removes her phone from the pocket of her shorts, sets it on a nearby shelf and then pulls her shorts down her legs and over her bare feet.

Now wearing just a bikini Pia drops her shirt and shorts in the dirty clothes hamper next to the washer.

Pia then reaches one arm behind her back and unties her bikini top which she then puts in the hamper with the rest of her clothes.

As Pia stands in the garage / laundry room in just a pair of bikini bottoms she quickly pulls them down her legs and over her bare feet.

Pia then drops her bikini bottoms in the hamper , grabs a clean towel which she throws over her shoulder, opens the door into the house and heads towards the bathroom naked and barefoot.
