What happens at the community centre?

Town meeting

Walking towards the community centre, Loraine heard two women talking around the corner. "You prepared discussion points for the meeting, Charlotte?"

"I have," spoke the older woman, "someone should do something about the Dupont situation, and I'll gladly do it myself."

Lead by her curiosity, she followed the two women into the community centre. Inside one of the halls, there was a rather large gathering of people. Waiting by the door, she overheard the following;

"Afternoon, everyone. Today, we are gathered here to talk about the Duponts."

"We shouldn't be talking about them, we should be making action!"

"Why do those criminals have to live here in our town?"

"Apparently, there wasn't a homeless shelter in their old town, so they had to go here."

"Again, why do those criminals have to live here? It was perfectly peaceful in here, and now we have to look at their naked bodies. I mean, what of the children?"

"And what if they continue their fraud here? What if they try to scam one of us?"

All this talk infuriated Loraine, and she considered giving them a piece of her mind.
