Towards the Outpost.

Greenport was very far away, and going towards the city would take Druuna and Janette past the bandits main settlement. After deliberating for awhile, the two women decided that the Finders Guild outpost would be their best hope of getting help.

So the pair set off; Druuna clothed only in a pair of ratty pants with a knife and nearly empty handgun, Janette as naked as the day she was born, without food or supplies of any sort. Without a proper map the two women made slow progress the first day, stopping often when sore bones and achy joints made movement impossible. Soon the sun set and they were **** to make camp with fire for warmth or food to quiet their stomachs. It was going to be a hard trek if they didn?t get food or proper clothing soon, but searching for food could have meant capture.

Without a meal they would travel even slower, risking capture, but there was risk in either decision.
