Search for food.

Knowing that moving away from the bandits as fast as possible was critical, Druuna checked the pistol; counting a total of nine bullets, and readied her knife. Druuna made sure to hide Janette away from easy view and hid Janette in the roots of a massive oak before setting off; Janette was still too weak from being tied up so long, and wasn?t as strong as Druuna anyways, so she had to stay behind while her raven haired companion went to scavenge for food.

Druuna easily found a couple of small trees that awarded her a few pocketfuls of small nuts, but the rest of her search seemed fruitless until she came upon a small, deserted looking cabin. Druuna could smell somebody cooking something inside, and the thought of a proper meal made her stomach growl. She could creep up to a window and try to see who was inside.

There was danger there. The cabin could be a trap or it could be salvation.
