Toothless, from How to Train Your Dragon

As Josh scanned the menu for an options, his eyes landed on a familiar face and name.

How to Train Your Dragon was not a bad movie, by any means. In fact, some could even say that it was successful. The fact that it gave origin to two sequels and two tv series (three, if you count that spin-off for preschoolers on Netflix), was proof that some people actually liked it. I mean, it was a movie that involved Vikings and dragons! Dragons that could be from cute to downright sexy, especially after they were made anthropomorphic, what increased their appeal for the furry community at large (they were attractive as ferals as well). Among such dragons, was the one that could be, arguably, the true main character of the movies and series.

“Toothless, huh?” Josh said, looking at the picture of the black dragon with green eyes. “I’d like to try him out.

As Josh said that, the square that showed Toothless was select, and the menu vanished before his eyes. Now Fursona stood before him, with his plain, vaguely anthropomorphic figure. However, that was soon changing, as his body became a bit less muscular and a bit rounder. His muzzle rounded up and became larger, making his head bigger. His tail elongated while wings sprouted from his back. Now, before Josh was the familiar shape of a dragon devoid of features, before coloration and texture were added, alongside clothing.

Now, before him stood and anthropomorphic version of Toothless. The same black scales and green eyes, but now he stood on two legs, with arms, and was a bit taller than Josh. He was also wearing clothes. The same clothes that Hiccup wore on the first movie.

“So, I am your choice, ain’t?” Toothless said, and Josh was a bit surprised by the voice. It sounded a lot like Hiccup’s!

“Your voice.” Josh said, looking at him, and Toothless immediately looked away as he rubbed the back of his neck.

“Yeah, the guys who programmed this thought it would be funny if I had a voice similar to Hiccup’s. His adult version, of course.” The nightfury said, looking at the human before him. “I can change this voice if you want.”

“No, it’s okay.” Josh said, looking at him. “I am fine with the voice.”

“Well, I am glad you are.” Toothless said, smiling at the human. “So, now it seems that you are the one who is going to train this dragon, huh? Unless, of course, you prefer this dragon to train you.” He winked at Josh as he said that, and that made Josh blush. Soon, Toothless was resuming.

“So, now that you’ve choose me, we need to decide how we will be doing that.” He said, looking at the smaller human. “You prefer a programmed scenario, or a free experience?”
