Toni Storm vs Jamie Hayter

Ever since she had lost her AEW Women’s World Title, Toni Storm had clearly been in a foul mood. Insulting anyone who started off in AEW, and taking any shortcuts necessary to win matches, Toni had shown a new side of herself that made her very few fans. Coincidentally, Jamie Hayter, the woman who had beaten her for it, had been growing more and more popular. Relying less and less on Britt Baker to help her win matches, the reigning champion’s already high levels of popularity had just increased, while Toni’s had decreased as she seemingly grew more and more **** and arrogant.

These flipped dynamics would be enough on their own to set up and intriguing rematch, but things had really kicked up a notch a couple weeks before Revolution. During a backstage promo, Toni and Saraya had ambushed Britt and made sure to lay her out and leave her unable to help Jamie later in the night. And when the champion called the two devious women out, they took advantage of the number’s game, Saraya eventually holding Jamie in the corner for Toni to land three consecutive hip attacks and completely knock her out. Not having enough after that even, Toni decided to take it up a notch, leaning back after the third and shaking her ass all over Jamie’s face. The next week, Jamie made the challenge for a Kiss My Ass match, wanting **** for the humiliation and injuries inflicted upon her and Britt. Toni eagerly accepted, promising her former friend turned rival that she would take her title back and show everyone how pathetic she was. Jamie meanwhile vowed to put an end to Toni’s new attitude and anti-AEW original sentiment, and make her show her respect for the first time ever.
