Tom takes his place beside Paige and confidently puts his arms around the fiery stunner. Paige looks ecstatic at his choice. You take a look at Jenna, who seems deflated and sunken. It's strange that even one of the prettiest girls you've ever seen can feel rejection.

You decide to cheer Jenna up.

“His loss, I’m sure,” You say to Jenna. Jenna smiles at that. Buzz.

“Islanders with that, we have our first couples. Liz and Rick. Rachel and Mike. Matt and Jenna. And lastly, Paige and Tom. Remember, by the end of the week, we will have a recoupling, so guys get your game faces on, and girls sharpen those knives cause the Islanders that are not in a couple by the end of the week will risk being dumped from the Island. I’ll see you… very soon.” Amanda added ominously and left us.

As the host parted, the remaining contestants broke off into their couplings and began getting to know each other. Tom and Paige were relaxing at the bar, laughing and smiling at each other like newlyweds. Rick and Liz disappeared somewhere, and so did Mike and Rachel. Jenna stood near you by the pool and looked around like she was deciding where she wanted to be. You check your phone.
