To the emergency room...right?

As we reached the hospital, I was immediately brought to a stretcher my legs pulled to my head as they wheeled me inside. I was met by an old grouchy woman in a nurse getup. "Name (first middle and last) and age?" she asked.

My family was already gathered in the waiting room as apparently the officer had actually taken a much longer route to get to the hospital I'm sure as a way to extend my humiliation.

"Diana Grace Maxwell, 21," I mumbled trying not to say it for the world to hear as the waiting room was filled with people.

"Speak up, loud and clear. The longer this takes, the longer you stay like that," the nurse scolded.

I repeated my response this time much louder and clearer this time which allowed everyone to hear as well confirming my legal name and age to them.

"Where do you live?" she asked.

"9199 Baden Place Malibu, California," I recited.

"And what are you in for?" she asked.

"I... I have a hotdog stuck up my butt," I mumbled.

"Louder, young lady, we don't have all day," she scolded again.

I wanted to die as I yelled out. "I have a hotdog stuck up my butt!"

I could hear laughter coming from the waiting room as I yelled.

The nurse glared at me looking at me as though I had just committed a crime against humanity. "So you're one of those sluts aren't you?" she asked. "I'm sure you thought it would be funny to stick a hotdog up there. And now look at you. You're in a hospital, completely naked, needing it to be removed from your butt."

I cried. "It's not my fault!"

"Sure it's not. I'm sure someone else stuck it up there. Your father already told us everything that happened. I just wanted to hear it from you. You've already been checked in as well, I just wanted to make sure there was no doubt to everyone who you are because you're never going to live this down. In fact, let's get your operation started shall we?" the nurse said with an evil smile on her face.
