To the Surface
The skunk went to spray, and Jamie held up her wrap. The skunk sprayed the wrap as the other woman laughed.
After the skunk was finished, Jamie ran off. After she was out of sight of the woman, but still hearing the laugh, Jamie stopped to catch her breath. Her head was still pounding, and her mouth was very dry. The wrap reeked, so she dropped it, and now she was totally naked. She climbed some stairs and found an abandoned subway station.
She heard some female voices, and went to investigate. The morning sun hurt her eyes and made her head hurt worse. She crept up and peeked around a wall. She saw two girls doing grafitti with spray paint.
She wondered if she should approach them for help. One the one hand, they were young women like her and could be sympathetic, but on the other hand they were literally breaking the law by committing vandalism.
