How is the reunion?

To the Rescue

To the Rescue

****

Logan walked up to the cabin flanked by the two blondes. He tried to find Heather among their friends gathered around the doorway, but she was nowhere to be seen. As they approached, he saw Victoria jumping with glee and running towards them, followed by the others.

He watched Victoria and Grace squeal as they jumped and hugged each other while Meagan and Bonnie made a show of giving each other a high-five, ending in a butt slap before hugging, the shorter girl barely reaching above the taller girl’s stomach. Trent gave him a bro hug while Peter shook his hand and thanked him for coming to their rescue. Everyone was talking at the same time, and it was hard to get his bearings.

“Where’s Heather!?” he asked Ashley as she clung to his arm, and then, they all fell silent around him. The girls looked at each other, each one afraid to break the bad news.

“Shawn took her.” Peter finally said, “Zack and Brandon ran after them to rescue her.”

“Fucking bastard!” Logan swore, “We’re too late.”

“Where did they go?” Bonnie asked, looking around, noticing that Chloe wasn’t there, “and where’s Chloe?”

“She ran after Zack,” Meagan said softly.

“WHAT!” Bonnie almost cried out incredulously.

“I tried to stop her, but she wouldn’t listen.” Meagan added as she snickered, “Girl. You should see what they’ve been doing. Can’t keep their hands off each other.”

“No way!” Bonnie gasped in surprise. “They finally got together?”

“Can’t stick a piece of paper between them.” Meagan laughed.

“I don’t believe you!” Bonnie said. She couldn’t believe her own ears.

Meagan shrugged and gestured to Gavin, “Ask Gavin.”

“It’s true,” Gavin said, “we could hear them through the walls when we slept together.”

Meagan smacked his shoulder hard enough that he almost tipped over. “OWWW! What was that for?”

“We didn’t sleep together!” Meagan scolded him, “We shared the room! Not the same thing!”

“Ok! Ok!” Gavin mumbled while he rubbed his bruised shoulder, “You didn’t have to hit me!”

Logan looked around. He felt lost among his friends and **** to find a way to reach his cousin. He wished he had memorized Shawn’s location. “We should have copied their location,” he growled in frustration.

“We can.” Grace said, “I can do it with the stuff we brought.”

Logan's eyes widened with hope as he dashed back to the boat. “Give me a hand!” he called back. Trent and Peter dashed after him. The three boys brought back all the things Grace had insisted they bring along.

Meanwhile, the girls were a hive of questions. Everyone was asking the same questions: “What happened?” “How did you get here?” “We were worried!” “How did you find out?” all at the same time. Gavin looked back and forth and started to wish he had gone to help Logan with whatever it was they had brought.

As the boys carried the boxes up to the cabin, Grace turned to Gavin. “Is the dish working?” she asked.

Gavin just shook his head and said, “They smashed it. The router and cables, too.”

“We brought another,” Grace said to his relief, ”and a router, almost didn’t bring it.”

“I’ll set it up with Trent,” Gavin said, taking the box with the new dish from Peter’s hands, “he helped me set it up last time.”

Grace took the satellite phone adapter and hooked it to her phone. Then she took Logan’s phone and started installing stuff on it, checking it with her own phone as she went along.

“C’mon, Grace!” Logan hurried her.

“I’m working!” She shot back at him while everyone crowed around to see what she was doing, “Geez! Give me some room!”

“GRAACEEE!” Logan growled almost imperceptibly. “This is taking too long! I have to get to Heather!”

“Hold your fracking horses, Ravers!” Grace shot back. “I’m going as fast as I can. You really should upgrade your phone. Or get a better one.”

“It’s the newest iPhone!” Logan protested.

“And it's a year out of date!” Grace shot back and, out of the corner of her eyes, saw him silently fume and fiddle around.

“THERE! FINISHED!” Grace said triumphantly, handing Logan back his phone with a satellite adapter. “I locked in the location on the map. Now you can follow their signal straight to their camp!”

Logan looked at his phone, shocked with relief. Now, he knew exactly where they were taking Heather. If he took the boat, he might even get there before they did.

“Grace! You're fantastic!” Logan shouted. He tenderly grabbed her head in both his hands and kissed her on the lips, “I love you, Grace!” he cried out before turning around and running for the boat. He heard Trent and Peter call out to him, telling him to wait for them but he ignored them. He had to save Heather.

Grace just stood there wide-eyed in shock, her mouth hanging open for almost half a minute. She had never been kissed before. Then she turned around and grabbed Bonnie’s hands and jumped up and down as she squealed, “He kissed me! Did you see that!? He kissed me!”

Off to the side, Hannah gently nudged Victoria as she leaned in to whisper, “That is how you act when a nice boy steals a kiss.

Victoria clenched her jaw as her face turned dark red; a mix of anger and embarrassment coursed through her at being called out over what she had done with Zack. She didn’t know if she wanted to tell Hannah to fuck off or crawl into a hole and disappear. So, she stood there, fuming inside, while they all watched Logan jump into the boat and speed off to rescue his cousin Heather.

Logan raced the boat along the coastline, one eye on the water, the other on the map, watching the two icons get closer and closer. A part of him realized that he should have waited for Trent and Peter, but he couldn't. he just hoped that he could meet up with Brandon and Zack in time to save Heather. The boat suddenly jumped wildly over the shallow water, Logan hands gripped the steering wheel like his life depended on it and slowed the boat down a bit. For a moment, Logan thought it might be better to take it deeper before he ran it aground against a rock but decided to risk it. Then he reached the closest point, and he swung the boat over and aimed it straight to the coast. He cut the engine just before he drove it aground. Jumping off it, he ran as fast as he could to Shawn's camp.

A few minutes after Logan left, Chloe and Heather appeared at the treeline, dragging a dizzy and nauseated Dylan by a rope. Heather had even wrapped part of it around his neck as she berated and cursed her would-be kidnapper.

Dylan barely paid any attention to Heather, his head was spinning, he didn’t know where he was, and all he could think of was vomiting again. And he wanted to sleep. He felt so tired, all he wanted was for the noise to stop so he could sleep, or throw up again.

As they approached the cabin, the two girls noticed Trent on the roof setting up a new satellite dish and whole lot of commotion among the girls outside. Getting closer, Heather blinked in surprise as she noticed an unusually tall girl and… ‘Four blondes?’ she wondered till she recognized that they had visitors, Grace and Bonnie. ‘When did they get here?’

As before, the girls raced over to greet and hug Heather and Chloe, and. Ashley and Victoria pestered Heather about Brandon while Meagan and Bonnie did the same with Chloe about Zack.

Heather, like Logan, was overwhelmed by all the questions coming one right after the other. She finally shook her head and gave the loudest whistle she could to silence all the girls. “Whoa! Whoa! Whoa!” she called out. “I’m ok. I’m ok! We got Dylan, but Shawn and Kendra got away with Matt. Brandon and Zack took off after them, and they’re both ok,” she added, looking around, “Now can someone tell me why Grace and Bonnie are here and how did they get here?”

“Logan brought them!” Victoria chirped in excitedly.

“Loggie’s here!?” Heather said in surprise, “Where is he?”

“He went after Shawn,” Bonnie said.

“WHY!” Heather shouted, frustrated that she missed out on her cousin.

Back at the cabin, Peter wrapped his arms around Taylor while Hannah stood nearby. “Thank god you’re Ok,” he sighed and pulled her close.

“How did you get out?” Taylor asked as she snuggled under his arm.

“Zack,” Peter said proudly, “He used his dagger to cut us loose. Then we ran under the basement to the garage.”

“The one Roy gave him?” Taylor asked awe, “They didn’t take it from him?”

“Nope!” Peter shook his head, “Kid had it hidden in his ankle. They were too hurried to get back to you guys,” he added, kissing her forehead. “He really took charge, you should have seen him.”

Taylor was in awe, she found it hard to believe that her little brother had been able to keep his cool, hide that dagger, organize their own break out, and rescue them. Which reminded her. She looked over at Hannah and remembered how she and Heather had acted in front of their kidnappers. Almost throwing themselves at them like a free lunch. “And what the hell were you trying to do with that stint?”

Hannah gave her an embarrassed smile and a small wave when they both looked at her. “Hannah,” Peter said, worried about his ex-girlfriend's antics, “What did you do?”

“She practically threw herself out like a cheap piece of meat to those… creeps!” Taylor accused her. Peter looked back and forth between the two of them. He was shocked. He knew Hannah loved to push boundaries, hell, she practically had no boundaries.

“I was trying to distract them so you and the others could get away!” Hannah huffed, “By the way, you're welcome!”

“Hannah!” Taylor scolded her best friend, her voice quaking. What she was saying was complete madness. “They were going to **** you!”

“I know. But I couldn’t let them do that to you!” Hannah said, and she seemed to shrink as she said it, “Or the others.”

“You… you were going to do that?” Peter asked in disbelief.

“Well, yeah,” Hannah shrugged meekly, “Couldn’t let them do that to you, Tay. And Peter would be mad at me if I let them.”

“Come here, you crazy stupid…” Taylor choked tearfully as she stretched out her arm to Hannah. Hannah quickly closed the distance and hugged her best friends. The three of them held each other tightly. Taylor sniffled as she crushed Hannah against her while Peter soothingly stroked both girls as he held them tightly. Hannah gripped them both so hard, almost fearful they would both disappear if she let them go.

“Thank you,” Peter whispered as he tenderly kissed Hannah’s forehead.

“Does that mean we can have a threesome?” Hannah teased them.

“HANNAH!” both of them scolded her at the same time.

“I love you both,” Hannah sighed as she buried her face between her two friends.

What happened to the boys? Did they catch Shawn?
