To the Lake!

Authors Note: This chapter is written in Jessica’s POV.

Jessica’s POV

I felt bad for leaving James alone in a foreign country after just a couple days of being here, but he’d be fine, he’s the traveller, the one who makes friends easily. I was excited to see Molly after last night, it felt nice to share some female company as I’m not one for having friends especially other girls, after all growing up it was just me, my little brother and my dad.

I was meeting Molly at Budapest Deli Station to get the train to Lake Balaton, I made it to the station and decided to grab a coffee whilst I waited for Molly. “Soya Mocha” please I said to the rather strapping barista, “anything for you madame” he replied with a wink. I took a seat on the table outside so that I could keep an eye out for Molly as well as to gawp at this guy. Don’t get me wrong I only have eyes for James but we can both appreciate other peoples looks, we aren’t 12 anymore.

I saw Molly immediately as she walked into the station, she walked with such purpose, men starring at her as she walked towards me with a low cut, almost see through white top revealing her pink bikini bra underneath with her denim short shorts hugging her ass.”Hey gorgeous!” Molly said pulling me in for a hug “Hey, I would have got you a coffee but I thought you might wanna grab your own” I said as I gestured towards the barista. “Thanks hun, I’m gonna go grab myself a slice of that” she said as she walked into the track side coffee shop.

I could see her chatting to the guy behind the counter but I couldn’t hear what she was saying, but it was obvious she was flirting with him. I saw the barista hand her a coffee and a napkin for some reason as Molly smiled at him and came back out towards me. “Thanks for that Jessica” that’s the first hot guys number I’ve got since being here she said as she placed the napkin on the table revealing his number “Haha, now that’s how you do it girl” I said gesturing a high five.

“Right we’ve got a train to catch, it’ll be boarding shortly” Molly said, “Did you bring your bikini?” she added. “Of course, look” I said, pulling the front of my jeans forward to show Molly my bikini bottoms. “Today’s gonna be a good day” Molly smiled as we headed towards the train. As we boarded the train Molly said she had a surprise “First class tickets, we have our own compartment both ways”, “how much do I owe you” I said “Oh nothing, this country is cheap so why not travel in comfort” Molly said. She was right, everything so far in Hungary was pennies on the pound.

We found our compartment and set down our bags, deciding at first to sit opposite each other, after all there was room for 6 people in here! “So Jessica, we have a couple of hours, tell me all about you” Molly said. “Where do I start?!” I said. “At the beginning” Molly laughed. “Well before I met James I lived with my Dad & my little brother. My mum died when I was young so I was very much a daddies girl. We are VERY close, closer than you could imagine, we do everything together. I met James 5 years ago and we hit it off pretty fast, he’s one of the few good guys. He owns a company and we’ve finally got a chance to travel long-term, so here we are”.

“Wow Jessica, I knew there was a reason we clicked last night, we have a lot in common. My mum also passed away when I was young and my daddy is the one who taught me everything, we are SUPER close, probably closer than you and your dad. Obviously I have a little sister Amber instead of a little brother but I always wished I had a brother to help take care of me too you know. Plus Amber isn’t as close to daddy as me, which always caused a bit of rivalry between us, I feel like a brother would have….understood, more, maybe even gotten more…involved…” Molly said as she started to twitch on her seat like she was perhaps uncomfortable.

“Yeah I get you, I guess I have the best of both worlds as me, my dad and my brother have a great relationship and understand each others needs. Saying that, I would have liked a sister, as I never seem to vibe with the girls as much as the lads. But trust me when I say I’m closer to my family than you could think” I said.

We ending up chatting about everything you could think of until we heard “Next Stop, Lake Balaton” over the tanoy. “Right sis, let’s get to it!” Molly said grabbing my hands and pulling me to my feet.

Later that day...
