To set her up for a date with Newton, so that they can become partners!

"So!" You clap your hands together loudly, and then rub them all scheming-like. "Listen up!"

Nora looks as amused as she always does when you act up. "I'm listening, Debbie."

You give her a nod of appreciation. "So, I had a thought! Since Newton doesn't have a partner, and you don't really like yours, the two of you could totally partner together and graduate in success!"

{if NewtonPartnerIdea == True}Nora opens her mouth to respond, but you clap loudly again so that you can continue uninterrupted. She looks annoyed, but closes her mouth again.

"Yes, he didn't agree,{if LolaVisit == True} and I didn't get anywhere trying to, uh, talk with Lola,{endif} but!"{else}"Have you asked him about it?" Nora asks. "I very much doubt he'd be on board."

"Well, n-no, I haven't asked him about it yet, but!"{endif} You lift a finger into the air for emphasis. "I think that if we got both of you to sit down at a table and talk and everything, like a date, he might fall in love with you and agree to it! Especially because you're so pretty. I work at the cafe in the Food Court, so I can serve your table all romantic-like, and not interrupt too much, and everything!"

Nora looks at you in disbelief. "Are you.... setting me up for a date right now? Is my cuddle buddy trying to wingwoman me?"

You nod enthusiastically.

"I.... That- that's absurd!" She yells. Her eyes bug out right afterwards, as she scans the Arena tent for anybody who might have their attention on your conversation now, then she turns back to you and continues in a much quieter voice. "That's absurd. I.... he already knows me anyway, dinner wouldn't suddenly create feelings out of thin air."

"Yeah, but still! It might show him how much you want to be partners with somebody other than Lola, at least, and he'd definitely want to try make you happy if he could!"

Her face is getting surprisingly red right now. Wait. Hold it! Does she..... eeeeee!! Does she have a CRUSH on Newton?!

"Do you have a CRUSH on Newton?!" You ask, taking a half-step backwards in alarm.

"SHSHSHSHSHHHHH!!!!" Nora hushes forcefully, taking a clumsy step forward to clamp her hand over your mouth. "Not so loud! A-and no, I don't, I just really respect him, that's all. He- he's done a lot for our class, and he seems like a nice enough fellow. Nothing more to say than that. Hah, I'm a twenty one year old woman in my last year of university, I don't have 'crushes' on people." She finishes, regaining her usual confidence and composure. You lick her palm, and she quickly pulls her hand back with a look of shock and disgust and **** disappointment.

"Do you want him to be your partner, then?"

"W-well...." Nora hesitates. "Initially, I was going to ask him if he wanted to.... but then, he got to choose first, and he chose- he chose that rat of a boy, just because he knew nobody else would want to partner with him. God, was he right. And then that piece of scum just left Newton behind, threw away two whole years of-" Nora stops herself, and takes a few deep breaths. She opens her eyes again and focuses on you. "You're doing this on purpose, aren't you? You're just trying to- to wind me up, and- you're just trying to get me all flustered."

You shake your head.

"Well, it's working! A-and it's not true! Real life isn't like those fairytales and romance novels I imagine you stick your nose into constantly, and there's nothing between me and Newton but a mutual respect!"

You nod.

"So, should I ask him if he'd like to eat with you in the Food Court sometime, or is that a no go?"

"YES, you can do that."

Great! You jump in place happily. This is going to work out so great! Newton will get to graduate, and Nora will get a partner she likes and who tries hard! Plus, with Lola removed from the equation and the positive **** of Newton around, Nora'll probably get way less.... antsy and stressed out all the time. You cuddle buddy will be done. All you've got to do now is go see if Newton wants to eat with her too, and then you can just watch the magic happen!

Also, if they do fall in love, that'd be pretty cool to see.
