To hell with his orders

"He's my friend! I'll keep him locked in the cell at the house. He can't kill anyone like that."

"He's a vampire Max? What are you going to feed him?"

"I'll find a way!"

As you argue, both of your voices increase in volume and attract the attention of your other pack members, who soon come over to see what the fuss is all about.

"Amanda, say something!"

"He's a vampire, Max! He's no longer the friend you knew..." You immediately regret asking for help after hearing her answer. Of course, she wouldn't take your side against Edward.

"Shit... God damn it!" There is no one here to take your side and balance the power a bit. There isn't even a single werewolf from your group here, and convincing the others to side with the vampire isn't going to work. No matter how you look at it, it's all bad for you. Defending a vampire is the worst crime you can commit. And it's even more grievous considering the times you live in where werewolves are hunted out in the open.

"Kill me? You can't kill me bitches. I'm immortal!" You hear Tom yelling from behind.

"Shut the fuck up!" you say as you kick him in the legs. The stupid bastard is close to ****, and he talks about immortality? You know for sure that's all bullshit, and he can die just like everyone else. You've personally put a few vampires into the ground.

"Immortal, Hahaha!"

"Last chance Max!"

If you choose to go against his order, your status will hit rock bottom. And it will not affect just you but everyone that counts on you. There will be dire consequences if you don't listen to him, but can you really kill your best friend? He was always there for you when you needed help, and now you have to kill him?

But can you even save him? Maybe if you join the fight, you can buy him some time to escape by drawing attention to yourself. Maybe, you can take Edward as a hostage and negotiate for his release?

"Max, save him, please!!" Yells Leyla from the other room.

"Shut up bitch!" *thud*

"Max!" You can clearly hear as she struggles against her captors.

"At least let me take off his restraints and let him die with dignity."

"Sure, go ahead."

You kneel and try to untie his legs, but Leyla did a good job, so it takes time to free him. Useful time that allows you to think about possible scenarios and how people would react to certain things. Even if the chances are slim, you have to at least try. You will never forgive yourself if you let Tom die like this.

"You cannot kill me!"

"Shut up and get up!" you say as you pull him up.

"I'm going to fuck you all up! Hahaha!" He starts laughing like an idiot, and you are seriously starting to doubt the next phase of the plan.

"Listen here, you fuck." You say as you grab his shirt and shake him. " You're not immortal! I've killed hundreds of vampires like you already. Some stronger than you will ever be. You got that?"

"Fuck you! I'm superhuman!"

"No, you're not!"

"Look around you. You will never be able to win against all of them in a fight. You got that?"

He looks around and seems to finally understand the situation he is in, so you finally break the chains from his hands and push him towards the window

"RUN!" You yell and turn your back towards him to face Edward.

Sure he will not survive if he has to fight all of them, but as long as you keep Edward at bay for a few minutes, he should at least be able to escape. After all, it's the middle of the day, and the wolves won't be able to transform and chase him unless they want the world to know we are here.
