To Her

At first she hopes they must be talking to someone else.

Then she finally hears what they are saying as she turns "Hey girl, you dropped something! You can't be littering" said the boy walking towards her from the end of the hall behind her.

It's the hall monitor walking towards her from down the hall pointing at something. Anna is stumped looking at the boy and trying to figure out what he is referring to. All I have to do is just walk a few more feet and I will be inside the sewing room and away from this annoying boy.

Then Anna finally thinks she sees that he is pointing to a piece of paper laying on the floor in a small crumpled ball. "Well I didn't drop any paper or see any paper on the floor when I was walking down the hallway just now", thought Anna to herself.

Then it hits her in a wave of dread, fear and panic as the epiphany finally hits her mind. She throws her hands into her jacket pocket and realizes that her damaged underwear are not in her pocket but most likely laying in the middle of the hallway getting ready to be picked up by the hall monitor! she suddenly feels panicked and totally exposed.

"Think Fast Anna"

I can't let him get to them first if I do there will be too much explaining to do but, if I go too fast I may expose myself to him.

If I ignore him I will have to go the rest of the school day without anything on underneath my skirt which is rather "short for a school uniform"

Also he may just chase me down and It would lead to more embarrassment.
