Tipping the Balance

Nelson was the staging ground for the Legion during the NCR-Legion war.

The Courier had helped secure the position during the war. Nelson during that time; was made up of a bunch of bombed out houses, a chain fence stands erect on the outskirts of the Northeast part of Nelson. The road to Nelson lined with crucified NCR troops; most coming from Camp Forlone Hope.

Time had past, Nelson, as a military position, had been abandoned for the formerly named Camp Forlone Hope newly christen Ceaser's Egressio.

Nelson was built up into a functioning settlement; though it wasn't as big as many of the pre-establish communities. The Courier was pleasantly surprised at how far Nelson had grown. Legion soldiers worked on restoring the bomed out remains of the stone structures, while slaves carry the materials in long caravans. A small cabin was converted into a shop, though in its infancy, business was slow. The Courier however spent little time in Nelson; she moved on towards Ceaser's Egressio.

Cesar's Egressio was still a military base, the Legion had taken its time removing NCR influence from the area. Ceaser's Egressio had actually expanded. Most of the previous buildings remained; though more tents were put up and as the Courier looked around some new **** pens were added. As the Courier walks past the pens a somewhat familiar face catches her eye. It was the former Tech Sergeant Reyes; she had survived the battle for Camp Forlone Hope, and now she was a **** to the Legion. Reyes laid kneeling on the ground, hands tied behind the back, and stripped of her uniform. Angel looked at her with scorn and prejudice. Enslavement or crucifixion was the fate of all women in the Legion; a fate that should apply to Angel; should to be noted. Something about going against such fate made Angel giddy deep inside her. The Courier spent a decent time at Ceaser's Egressio; taking notes and resting up for the next leg of her adventure. During the downtime Angel started to think to herself as to why Ceaser sent her out on such a benign task. She had single handedly taken the NCR out, with help from the Legion of course. Surveying the Mojave was beneath such a person of her status. She pushed the thought to the back of her head and headed towards HELIOS One as the sun started to rise.
