Nathan looks at the silent copy of Selena standing in the middle of his room, dressed in a blue bikini. Her eyes are empty, her movements mechanical, and curiosity gets the better of him—how far can ibod really go? He turns to his phone and says:

“Tina, can you load the real Selena Gomez’s personality into her?”

Tina’s voice responds calmly in his head:

“Of course, Nathan. I’ll need access to internet data to synthesize her personality based on publicly available information—interviews, social media, performances. It’ll take a few seconds. Shall I begin?”

“Go ahead,” Nathan nods, feeling a slight thrill.

The phone screen flickers, displaying a loading bar:

{Scanning data… Synthesizing personality… Uploading to body…}

A moment later, the Selena copy jolts. Her eyes come to life, she blinks, looks around, and finally locks onto Nathan. She frowns, her voice—the same one familiar to millions of fans—sounds confused:

“Where am I? Is this some kind of filming set? Who are you?”

Nathan freezes, not expecting this reaction. He thought it’d be a mere imitation, but standing before him is Selena Gomez, alive, breathing, with emotions in her eyes. He awkwardly waves:

“Uh, hi… I’m Nathan. You’re… well, you’re at my house.”

Selena takes a step back, her gaze darting around the room.

“At your house? This doesn’t look like Los Angeles. How did I get here? I was supposed to be at a meeting with my producer…” She touches her face, then looks down at the bikini. “And why am I wearing this? What’s going on?!”

Nathan realizes she’s panicking and tries to calm her:

“Wait,” Nathan whispers, glancing away from Selena, who’s now banging on the bedroom door. “You mean she actually thinks she’s Selena? This isn’t just a program?”

“It’s more than a program,” Tina replies. “It’s a complete copy of her mind, as far as I could recreate it. But a warning: if the real Selena is linked to this copy, there could be consequences.”

Meanwhile, Selena shouts:
