Well, that didn't work out as well... or did it?
Time to make some changes
You looked up at the ceiling of Cabin 3 and sighed.
Your first attempt with Rachel wasn't the absolute worst, but it could have gone better in so many ways that it was on par with being a total flop.
Especially since you had the Rulebook in your possession as well.
For what's worth, you have been using it on a smaller scale than it was capable of.
Changing the rule of the Oracle may sound like a huge deal, but in reality, who'd care if the Oracle they were asking was a virgin or not?
It was a mystery why the spirit even required a maiden as its host to begin with.
And as for Rachel's interest, it wasn't too much of a stretch to keep her romantic feelings alive until today.
Aphrodite had confirmed that Rachel had a crush on you for longer than she had let on, although she had refused to share details on when she finally let go of that feeling.
Frankly, you were frustrated that things had gone as badly as they did.
You could bet a fat pouch of drachma that Aphrodite was having a time of her immortal life up at Olympus right now, rolling around in her bed laughing her ass off at how horrendously you had managed to crash the landing.
The more you dwelled on the matter, the more embarrassing and frustrating it became.
Why should you even bother holding back when you had infinite power?
For once, you could understand why the gods acted the way they did—some people simply didn't understand how much credit they were given by beings with unlimited power.
"...you know what? Fuck it."
You rolled around on the bed and pulled out the Rulebook.
Organization: The Spirit of Delphi
New Rule: The Oracle of Delphi serves to the strongest demigod of her era.
You placed the pencil down.
From afar, a huge thunder rolled across the sky.
An image flashed in front of your eyes—an image of the Sun sizzling down upon a dying city.
At the same time, you suddenly felt as if someone focused a giant magnifying glass on your body.
"Apollo."
You had completely forgotten that the Oracles were under his domain.
Maybe enabling them to have sex was something he could let slide(probably because that also gave him a chance to make a move on the Oracle), but the new rule you wrote seemed to have certainly crossed the line.
Quickly, you whipped out your pencil once more.
Organization: Apollo, the god of the Sun, light, healing, etc.
Old Rule: No one finds anything wrong, bad, or suspicious with the previous rule or any of its effects.
You simply copied the same rule you had put on Hera's rule.
If it was good enough to work on Zeus, it was certainly good enough for anyone else—whether they be a mortal or not.
And sure enough, the rumbling sky and the sizzling sensations vanished instantly, meaning that you were free to do as you pleased.
With a satisfied smirk, you got up from the bed and headed to the saltwater fountain placed in your cabin.
Since you broke the first one after a nightmare, your father Poseidon had commissioned a new statue to be placed in your cabin.
This time, the fountain was made of much stronger material, and it also had you holding Riptide next to Poseidon, creating a wave with the trident.
You fished out a drachma from your pocket and pressed a button on the trident. The water flowing from the tip changed into a spraying mist, creating a small rainbow in the cabin.
"Oh Iris, goddess of the Rainbow, please accept my offering and show me Rachel Elizabeth Dare."
You threw the drachma into the rainbow.
The golden coin vanished into the rainbow, and after a few seconds, an image slowly showed up on the mist.
