Time to do Some Good

“I want to go.”

Taylor smiles at you. “Glad to hear it, Maya. We’re going to sneak in and put a virus on the soul exchange computer.”

She hands you a black outfit.

“Make sure to wear the hood. There are cameras everywhere.”

Once dressed you make your way out to a black SUV.

Once you on Theresa starts the engine. Chad begins speaking.

“Gil found a backdoor in the security. He added an exploit. When the fire alarm goes off the door locks will be disabled for about forty five seconds. Then we’ll have nine minutes to get in find an active CPU and install a jump drive. This will insert a virus and bring them to a halt for days. Everyone have a jump drive?”

Everyone nods.

Taylor looks over at you. “Trust me, this is the right thing to do. The Queen of Vegas is an evil Succubus. Her daughters are even worse. Princess Candice is a spider who has enslaved men by the dozen and Princess Lily is even worse. They say she enjoys killing people and that it was her magic that created the Elephant killer.”

“Elephant killer?”

“Forgot you weren’t getting the news. He was a misshapen murdering monster. He killed seventeen people before the police shot him.”

You reach a small modern building next to a demon themed casino. Cora jumps out.

“She’s going to go smoke in the bathroom.”

She enters the front door, while the SUV heads to the back. Chad parks.

“Go!”

You all exit the car security is down and the door is unlocked. The fire alarm is blaring as the three of you stream in.

“Maya, you and Taylor take that way.”

You head down a hallway. You pass an open office door.

You poke Taylor. “There! That laptop.”

You head over and insert your jump drive.

Twelve seconds later the screen flashes.

“Time to go.”

The three of you meet by the exit.

Chad grins. “Eight minutes seventeen seconds.”

You exit and get in the van.

“We’ll pick up Cora a block from here.”

You pick her up without a hitch.
