Time passes on.

Two weeks later and Queen Arerto and Sabine found themselves down at the dock yard where the transports were being built. Three had been designed for carrying troops one for cavalry and one for logistics. The three troop carriers could house 2000 men each over two decks and the cavalry could carry 500 horses and riders. The Queen walked around looking at the ships being built and smiled as she saw women also helping with the construction.

She turned to the admiral and asked how long before they were completed and was informed that it would be about a month before launching. She congratulated him on the progress and she and Sabine headed back in to town heading for the army headquarters. The general met her with his aides and they took a tour of the training grounds and watched as the new recruits trained.

Arerto asked the general how many new recruits had volunteered and he told her around 10000 of which 4000 were women. He estimated of that number there would be a 25% rejection rate so he could expect to form a new division and have around 1500 for a special reaction ****. They would be further trained in the art of hit and run and stealth tactics. Arerto thanked him and headed back to the palace where she had to hold court.

The day drew to a close and Arerto headed to the banquet hall and had dinner asking Sabine what was on the calendar for tomorrow. She was informed by Sabine that there was a royal visit scheduled in the morning and local issues in the afternoon. After her dinner she headed up to to her chambers and to bed. However not before Sabine and Arerto enjoyed a night cap in her chambers.
