I check the time and see class is halfway over. I decide to check the notifications now and skip the rest of my history class.

Parry allows you to parry blows away. Reduces damage by (Skill Lvl × 10)% when parried.

New Skill: Clairvoyance Lvl 1, Passive

Clairvoyance allows the user to see briefly into the future. This allows you to see attacks from the future. Affected by Wisdom, with more Wisdom increasing the rate of visions.

I open my inventory and look at the new Spellbook I got earlier.

Beast Magic Spellbook Lvl 10, Rare

This Spellbook contains knowledge on Beast magic. Reading it teaches you the basics of Beast magic. Beast magic is mostly used in close quarters combat. It can increase your strength or even summon beasts to fight for you.

I cant help but smile reading it being a close quarter magic type. I take it out of my inventory and read it.

New Skill: Beastial Strength Lvl 1

Beastial strength increases the casters reflexes and power for a short time. Makes the wearer stronger and faster for 1 hour. Effects are (Intelligence × 0.15) added to your Strength and Agility. MP cost: 15

New Skill: Summon Beast Lvl 1

Summon Beast summons a random beast to aid the caster in combat. The beast's stats are set per beast but is boosted by 10% of the casters Intelligence. MP cost: 25

I smile and look at the item I got from using Theft on Dick.

Fingerless Gloves Lvl 2, Common

These fingerless gloves are black and made of leather. They give +1 defense to your hands.

I sigh disappointed when an idea hits me. I take some of the rat fur and bones and use Craft with the glove. I get a single fingerless glove from it.

Rat Killer Glove Lvl 7, Rare

This fingerless glove is soft and fuzzy on the inside. It has small rat bones on the outside going along the wearers own bones. They give +5 defensive to your hand and add +10 damage to rats to all your attacks.

Oh well, they cant all be winners. I get up and start walking to the school as the bell rings. I start walking to my metalworking class. This class is my favorite because I've always wanted to forge a sword, having watched too many forging videos online. I enter the class with a smile on my face and go to my seat. Shortly after the bell rings Mr. Jones greets us and starts handing us our projects. Since this class is making stuff none of the students can take them home until after their project is done, in which case the students come pick them up on the weekend. For this project every student can make whatever they want as long as the teacher approves and it meets the requirements. Those being something made by the student, at least six inches wide or long, and made completely out of metal. We've been working on this project for two weeks now. What I decided to make is a dagger. I wanted to create one in preparation for making a sword. Mr. Jones cones up to me last and hands me my work in progress dagger.

"Here you go Eric." He hands me my dagger. Its about 10 inches long in total with the handle and blade. Its blade is dark and metallic while its guard and handle are simple, metal and wood. The blade is what I'll be working on today. I thank Mr. Jones and stand up walking over to the forging area. Most of the other students are done already, opting fir something easy since their grade is based on effort not work. I start heating up the metal when i get a new notification.
