Tiffany's African Adventure

Upon arriving at the small airport in Africa Tiffany steps off the plane and heads out of the airport and outside to wait for the car that will take her to the small village where she is going to be serving as a missionary for the next few months.

Upon stepping outside Tiffany immediately begins sweating in the intense African heat.

Wishing she had worn a tank top and shorts instead of a t-shirt and jeans Tiffany hopes that the car will arrive soon.

Finally, after about ten minutes or so an open-air Jeep pulls up to the curb in front of her driven by a young man who seems to be around her own age and the driver says in surprisingly good English :

Are you Miss Tiffany Alvord?

To which Tiffany replies in a cheerful voice :

I am. Are you here to take me to my destination?

To which the driver says :

I am. Are you ready to go Miss Alvord?

To which Tiffany replies :

I am.

To which the driver says :

Okay then. Please place your bag in the back seat and then get in the front seat.

To which Tiffany replies :

Understood.

Quickly placing her bag of clothes and other essentials in the back seat of the Jeep Tiffany then opens the passenger side door, sits down and closes it behind herself.

Having closed the door Tiffany quickly buckles her seat belt before asking the driver in an inquisitive voice :

How long will it take us to get to our destination?
