Tiff

Alex decides that he'll visit Tiff. He looks into her room. Tiff is watching some video on her phone while laying in bed. "Tiff's will see Alex as her best friend." Alex and Tiff have never really been super close, so while his powers are still week, just getting closer to her and figure out what he can do later. Alex heads to bed.

In the morning, Alex gets ready for his day. As he's getting ready to leave, Tiff gives Alex a hug and says goodbye, which is something she's never done before. Alex knows his powers from the night before was successful.

It only takes Alex a few minutes of walking to meet up with Mary. Alex eye's are drawn to her outfit. Instead of her usual clothes, she's wearing a skirt and a shirt that's showing a little bit of cleavage. It seems like these are clothes she bought the day before. When she sees Alex, she blushes, being aware of how she looks. But she also feels Alex's eyes on her body, and a feeling of pride wells up inside of her. After all these years of liking Alex, all it took was a change of clothes to get his attention. Attention that now that Mary has felt it, she wants more. "Did you buy those yesterday?" Alex starts some small talk in hopes she didn't notice him staring.

"Yeah, Becca said they were cute. I thought maybe I could try them." She looks down at her clothing. "Do you like them?" without thinking, she asks the question, immediately getting embarrassed.

"Yeah, they look great on you." Alex answers and Mary's face goes red. "We should meet up with Carl and Becca." Alex changes the subject.

The two pairs meet up halfway to school. "Oh my god, Mary. I love the new look." Becca runs up to Mary. The two start talking. Alex falls back a bit with Carl.

"So, how's the powers going?" Carl asks Alex in a hushed voice, motioning towards Mary.

"I've only used it on a couple small things. Like that outfit for instance. What about you?" Alex asks back.

"Oh, I've been working on something. Just wait til this weekend." Carl winks at Alex.

"Can I at least have a hint?" Alex looks at Carl curiously.

"It's someone we used to hang out with when we were younger." Carl smirked.

They had alot of friends from the neighborhood. And hung out with most of them when they were younger. But as they got older alot of them grew apart. So there were alot of people. "Alright, well I guess I'll have to wait." Alex sighed.

The four friends arrive at school and go their classes, meeting up again at lunch. This time, Mary is already at the table, chatting with Becca, when Alex walks in. "Hey guys." Alex sits down with his group of friends.

"Hey babe." Becca smiles at him.

"Hey, Alex." Mary goes from very talkative to shy as soon as Alex sits down.

"Sup bro." Carl smacks Alex's back.

"So what are we doing this weekend?" Alex asks in between bites.

The friends start to throw ideas around until Mary says something. "My parents are out of town, and Kyle is having a party on Sunday." The other three look over at Mary. "I'm sure he'd invite you guys."

"Fuck yeah, a party!" Carl pumps his fist.

"Yeah I'm down to party." Alex looks to Becca.

"Of course I'll be there." Becca says. Then Becca stands up. "I wanna get to the library before lunch is over. I'll talk to you guys later." and Becca leaves.

With just the three of them there, Carl subtlety winks to Alex. "Yeah, I'm gonna go take a shit." Carl says crass as ever.

And with that, Mary and Alex sit across from each other at the table. "You're gonna be at the party right?" Alex asks Mary.

"It's my house, so of course." Mary answers.

"I was just wondering cuz the last time I went to a party Kyle threw, you weren't there." Alex clarified.

"I usually leave because I don't really know anyone." Mary admits. "But, now that you guys will be there, I'll stick around."

"Awesome, I can't wait to chill with you at the party." Alex smiles. Mary again blushed and looked away, which gave Alex an idea. Maybe Carl was right about Mary liking him. _"Mary will follow her feeling more." _Alex thought. If she did like him, Alex will find out.

The rest of the school day goes by. The friends meet up again outside of school. "So we doing anything tonight?" Carl asks the group.
