The Book of Alteration

The local library, a hang out place for many teens for various reasons. Some don't want to go home, some study, some play games. Two teenage boys use it to look at old porno mags way in the back of the reference section where no one goes. They sit at a table in the back of the section facing the door so they can see if people come in.

"Dude, look at those tits!" Alex exclaims. Alex is a your typical teenage boy. Hormones running through his body.

"Yeah dude, they're huge!" Carl almost yelled. Carl is Alex's bestfriend. They've been friends since grade school. They spend most of their time looking at girl and porn.

Both boys sit at the table for a few minutes admiring the "tits" before they hear something. The shuffling of shoes towards them. The boys stare at each other and Carl takes the porn mag and puts it on his seat and then sits on it. They watch to see who's coming. A cute redhead comes into view. "Hey guys" The girl call to the boys. It's Rebecca the third of the childhood friend trio. "Back hear again?" She giggles. She knows what they're doing. She walks over and sits next to Alex. "Still looking at porn mags now that you have a girlfriend?" She leans in and kisses Alex on the cheek causing him to turn red.

Rebecca and Alex started dating about 4 months ago. They had been bestfriends for years before Alex finally got the nerve to ask her out. After finding out they both liked each other they decided to date. Much to the dismay of Carl, who also likes Rebecca. He's never told either of them but he holds some resentment towards Alex. "Get a room" Carl rolls his eyes and looks away from the couple.

As the kids banter a librarian walks up to the table. "You kids better behave back here." She gives a stern look at the boys, and a soft look at Rebecca. "Maybe you shouldn't hang out with these little perverts" The librarian caught the boys before. She tries to keep an eye on them but gets very busy. She walks around the table and looks at Carl's chair. "Are you sitting on one of our books?" She reaches for it. Both Carl and Alex both bolt. They run towards the back shelf. Neither want to get in trouble. They both turn down a different isle before meeting up again. To bad both of them were watching behind them to make sure the librarian wasn't there. They collide and slam into the book selves. As soon as they hit the shelf, the individual shelves slide down and the boys drop into what seems like a basement.

The two stand up in a daze. It's dark and cold. They reach around in the dark until they find a light switch. When the lights come on, they see they're in a room that looks just like the rest of the library. The same carpet, same wall paper. Except there's only one book self. And only one book on the self. Carl and Alex look at each other in apprehension. Alex steps forward followed by Carl. Alex reaches up and takes the book from the self. "The book of Alteration." Alex reads the cover aloud.

"Alter-whation?" Carl asks. Carl isn't the smartest.

"Alteration, as in to change something." Alex answers back while rolling his eyes. He opens the book out of curiosity. The second the book opens, there's a flash of light, then temporary darkness, then finally back to normal. The boys blink for a few seconds to clear their eyes. When Alex looks at the book again, he starts to read the front page. "Owners: Alex Lere and Carl Montez." is all it says. The boys names. Alex turn another page. There's a preface followed by "Rules" in large letters.

Alex starts to read aloud. "The owners of this book have the powers of Alteration. They can change the physical and mental properties of others." Alex and Carl both look astonished.

"Rules, 1 The power starts off weak at first. They need to use the powers more to make them stronger. 2 The power can only be used once every 6 hours. If the change is something that doesn't work for any reason, the 6 hours will still need to be waited. 3 All you have to do is think of the change you want, and hold the thought in your mind for 5 seconds. The change will happen instantly. 4 You must be looking at the person for it to work. 5 The powers can be used on anyone except the owners."

The boy look at each other again. Both have looks of confusion on their face. "What a bunch of bullshit" Carl turns around and rolls his eyes. We just need to get out of here. Carl starts to search around the room. After a few minutes he finds a stair case that leads behind another bookcase up stairs. They peak out and see the coast is clear. They go to leave before someone caught them. As soon as they get to the door, they're stopped by the old librarian.

"You boys are in so much trouble!" She shakes the old porn mag at them. "Just wait til I call your parents." The boys panic. Then after a few seconds the old librarian transforms into a hot blonde. The boys eye's go wide. "Now you two come here until your parents get here." She grabs their arms and starts to pull them. Then Alex starts to think, _"The librarian doesn't think we did anything wrong" _All of the sudden the librarian lets them go. She turns around confused. "Sorry boys, I believe this is yours" She hands them the porn magazine back and walks away.

The boys run outside and down the street. After a few blocks they stop and catch their breath. "Dude, what just happened?" Carl looks at Alex with wide eyes. "I just started thinking how I wished the librarian wasn't old and bam she became hot." Carl face lights up. "You know what this means? The book! It was all true! I bet you thought that we weren't in trouble or something"

Alex looks back at Carl. "Yeah I thought that the librarian would think we did nothing wrong." Alex and Carl exchange looks of excitement.

"I can't believe it. I can't wait to use it on others." Carl starts to jump with glee. "I can make mom stop nagging me to clean my room, and I can make Candice love me. I can make chad have no arms or legs!" Carl rants off a bunch of things he wants to do.

"The rules though, I don't think we can just start by making Chad a torso." Alex laughs while recalling the rules they read. "And besides, it's already 7pm so we can't use it again until 1am." Alex emphasizes. "I'll be sleep by then. We can only use this 4 times a day if we only sleep for 6 hours. 3 times a day otherwise." Alex contemplates.

"Dude, this is the best thing ever. I want to get home so I can eat and go to bed. I wanna use new power A.S.A.P." Carl turns and starts to run home.

Alex makes his way home still in disbelief. How was this possible. Carl's thought changed the librarian's looks completely, and his changed her thoughts. So it must be real. Alex thought over the rules again. He can't use it against Carl. Not that he'd want to. Who would he use it on. Girls at school? Maybe even Rebecca if he wanted to. Then it hits him. What about his sisters? When he was younger, he got in trouble for stealing their panties. He's also had the thought in the back of his mind that his sisters were hot.
