Thursday Pt 6

"That is the last of them. Thank you so much for all of your help. These are for you!"

Courier Six laughed as Penny handed her, her own batch of cookies. "It was my pleasure, Penny! Don't worry. I'll get the package through!"

Penny waved watching her go. "All done and with two days to spare before the wedding!" She sat down on the porch.

She felt someone tap her right shoulder. She turned to look but No one was there. Neo sat down on her left. "Neo!" Penny said hugging her.

Neo grinned and gave her a thumbs-up.

Penny nodded. "Thank you, Neo. It wouldn't have been possible without everyone's help."

Neo patted her arm and Penny nodded and leaned against her. "You are correct. I am tired. Making cookies is a lot of work!"

Neo rolled her eyes at her and when Penny shook her head she texted. [You made too many]

Penny smiled. "Maybe so. But Walt said I could and I wanted to do it! If it gives one smile to even one of the Gardners then it is all worth it! Jimbo's disappearance, the upcoming wedding and pregnancies. Those are all things that deserve supporting, even if only in small ways."

Neo nodded as they sat there listening to the rain fall. It wasn't long before she felt her fall asleep.

"Hahaha! That's so funny-" Nora stopped as she came around the corner with Pyrrha and Blake. Neo had her fingers raised to her lips as Penny slept.

Pyrrha and Blake smiled and nodded sitting down next to Penny. Nora slowly sat too. Next to Neo.

She stared for awhile before Neo looked at her and texted [?]

Nora shook her head. "You two really are friends."

"No," Pyrrha said. ""We" are friends." Blake nodded.

Nora looked at Neo and then the sleeping Penny then back at Neo. "Soooo... aw, look... I'm not good at this stuff. I know we fought each other and stuff. But I can see they trust you. So I am going to try to as well. Just... bare with me ok, Neo?"

Neo looked at her and nodded. She's likely sore about being bested still and opponents. She thought about Villain-anon and "what she wanted" and how to get rid of the things in her way towards that goal. She smiled at Nora and texted. [I'm sorry]

Nora blinked in surprise. "About before?"

Neo nodded. [I'm sorry about it. Before is before. It isn't important here. Now. That's what matters to me] she strokes Penny's hair. [Being happy matters. Mine. Hers. His. Even yours]

Nora smiles. "You're still you but... you're different, Neo."

Neo nods and smiles. She feels different. She's changing. Growing. She looked at Pyrrha and Blake. They all were.

Nora nods too. "Maybe I can be a little different too. I'll start by trying to let go of the past and be friends with you like the others. Sound good?"

Neo nodded and they shook on it. [Then as new friends can I ask a favor?]

Nora looked at her, "Sure. What's up?"

Neo smiled. [Can you all help me carry Penny to bed. She's heavy.]

They chuckle and nod and get to work.

"Dance."

Walt blinked. Raven was holding his hand but she said it again. "Dance."

Walt looked at her. "You want to dance?"

She nodded and smiled. "I do!"

Walt chuckled. "Dance... with me?"

She grinned. "I thought you'd never ask! Yes!"

Walt rolled his eyes. "I walked into that one... alright." He watched her eyes light up. "But we feed and walk Zwei first then we'll see about dancing, ok?"

She nodded enthusiasticly! "Deal!"

Walt nodded too. She seemed... giddy. But also unsteady as she walked. *Dancing doesn't seem likely,* but he knew better than to argue with a drunk. "You ok?"

Raven frowned. "My feet feel heavy..."

Walt sighed and then nodded. "Here," he bent down and picked her up. She was even lighter than Neo. Probably not a good idea to put her on my shoulder though.

Raven blushed as he picked her up and perched her on his left arm. She instinctively put her arm around his neck. *His hand is on my butt!* she realized thrilled. *And we're so close! It's embaressing,* she lay her head on his shoulder, sniffing his neck. *but it's also nice! Safe. Strong. Sexy!*

Walt blushed as he carried her out the door. Her curvy body pressed up against his. Harley giving them a wolf whistle and a thumbs-up which Raven returns?! He opened the umbrella with his right as they exited.

Raven shivered as the cool, damp breeze shocked her a bit. She realized how incredibly forward this situation was. *I should get down,* she thought. "Walt..."

Walt held her tighter to him. "Don't worry, Rae. I won't let you go. I'll never let you go."

She shivered again but not with the cold this time. Infact she felt hot! *Never let me go,* she thought as she nuzzled his neck. *I'm his! Always! He claimed me! Owns me! Oh god! He smells so good!*

Meanwhile Walt is trying desperately to not think about her trembling sexy body... *or how nice it feels. Beautiful bunny butt in my hand. Geez, her tits are great on that small frame! Smells so good! Stop it! You probably stink. Why'd you get hot wings dummy! I got mints in my pocket and a tooth brush in my kit. Walk the dog. Use a bathroom and brush your teeth before you... stop thinking about kissing her idiot! Oh thank God there's Silver!*

Walt carried her over to the passenger side door. He cleared his throat. "Friday. Unlock Silver."

(("Unlocked, Boss."))

"Hold on tight, Rae," he told her and she did wrapping her other arm around his neck, pressing even tighter to him as he fumbled the door open.

Zwei greeted them with a happy, "Bark!" They both seemed happy and something smelled delicious! He licked Raven as Walt set her gently inside making her giggle. "Hello, Zwei! Who's a good boy?"

Zwei excitedly said, "Arf!" and then even more more excited as Walt pulled out the steak container. "For you, buddy. Dig in!"

Walt got in the driverside, started up the vehicle and located the nearest dog friendly park. Driving there he took the opportunity to try to calm down.

*OK, Cowboy,* he thought. *Not the appropriate time or place. Walk Zwei. Use a restroom. Throw some water on your face. Take her for a Dance like you promised. Then do the gentlemanly thing and get a hotel ro- Home! Take her home and to bed- her bed, not yours! Son of a gun, hold them damn horses!*

Raven meanwhile was looking at him. She was still excited but started calming down again... *but do I want that? I don't think I do! But it's hard to say what Walt wants. He acts so cool. Wish there was a way to... the glasses!*

She fumbled out her glasses and slipped them on. Looking at Walt she got a sudden eyeful of pertinent details and information on his state of attraction and arousal. She felt herself get even more excited again with the sudden influx of personal information Friday showed her. "Friday," she whispered softly suddenly scared. "Does Walt see... my info?"

(("No, Raven. He likely knows through other means. He's an expert at reading people. But he doesn't like "peeping" friends or family's personal information. He's funny that way. Insisting on pretending he's wearing blinders. He tries so hard to pretend he is blind that he halfway convinces himself, I think."))

She breathed a sigh of relief but she also realized that she had learned something more about him. He was extremely attracted to her right now... and he really was a "good" guy or tried very hard to be. *Which makes me want him more for some reason. I kind of want to see him lose control and be "bad"!*

Zwei looked at the two of them. He whimpered. He needed to relieve himself just like these two needed to just mate already! He hoped his needs would be attended to first.

Walt stopped at the nearest park with a "dog" section and pulled out the leash. "I'm going to walk Zwei-"

"Take me with you!" Raven said taking off the glasses. "I want to come along! Just like before!"

Walt nodded though he felt it meant more trouble. He clipped the leash to Zwei and handed it to her before exiting and walking around to open the umbrella and her door. Zwei jumped out and he asked, "Just like before, Rae?"

She blushed but determinedly nodded holding out her arms. "Just like before, Walt!"

Walt nodded and smiled. "Alright, Rae," he agreed and picked her up again, nestling her close.

Raven wrapped her arm around his neck and held the leash with her other. Together they went to the designated "dog" area.

Raven looked at the signs. "Dogs aren't allowed in the rest of the park?"

Walt chuckled and shook his head. "No they are. They're not allowed to "go" in the rest of the park. One of the great advances of the new modern age." There was someone else walking their dog who had apparently finished their "business". A little robotic machine came by and cleaned it up.

Raven laughed. "That is a great advancement!"

Walt nodded also laughing. "I grew up around animals. Cleaning up after them's just second nature. But for a lot of folks it's a hassle. Even in the parks of old people who just didn't care would abuse the system and not "do their doody duty". Now nothing to worry about! Clean park! No chasing people around to do the right thing! Everybody's happy!"

Raven laughed. "A true wonder of the age!" Walt laughed nodding.

Zwei wandered over to check out the strange machine. He walked around it sniffing and then relieved himself on it.

This caused Raven to laugh some more! Walt grinned as well but her laughing did delightfully distracting things with her body. When Zwei was done with his business he headed for the restrooms.

"Do you mind waiting here with, Zwei a moment?"

Raven looks at him. "Sure. I don't mind."

Walt sets her down and stepped into the restroom. Washing his hands he splashed water on his face. "Keep it together." He breathed. "Damn. I been feeding the thing too much thanks to the girls." He looked at himself in the mirror. "Nothings going to happen." His mirror self didn't look like he had confidence in or shared that opinion. He brushed his teeth.

A toilet flushed and a man stepped out to wash his hands. "Nice suit," he said.

"Thanks," Walt replied looking at the guys clothes. They were pretty normal and nondescript street clothes... except for the long dark coat. "Nice coat."

"Thanks," the man replied. He glanced at Walt again. "You're not a character are you? The hat's throwing me off."

Walt chuckled and shook his head. "I'm not."

Guy nodded. "Thought maybe you were a Westworld character I wasn't familiar with for a minute there." He pulled out a cigarette and patted his pocket. "Gotta light?"

Walt nodded and produced an old brass lighter. "Sure."

Lighting up the guy took a drag. "Thanks. You want one?"

Walt shook his head. "You're welcome and no. I rarely smoke anymore." Putting the lighter away he asked, "You hang around the park often?"

He nodded and smiled. "I do. I like it. It's safe and a good place to meet people. My buddy and I can conduct our business as long as we don't do anything illegal it's all good. He's a knucklehead though so it took some persuading for him to come around and see the light. Can't hang outside convenience stores all the time."

Walt heard a foul mouth voice approaching and smirked. "Sounds like a handful." He held his hand out. "Walt."

The other guy shook his hand. "Bob. You by yourself Walt?"

"No. My lady friend is outside. I just... needed to freshen up a bit."

Bob nodded and pointed. "Just so you know the "adult" area is over that way."

Walt grinned. "Thanks. It's not like that... yet."

"You're hesitating?" Bob asked.

Walt nodded and sighed. "I am. I just... I'm trying to do right thing. But things keep progressing quickly."

Bob nodded. "You like this girl?"

Walt nodded. "I do."

"She likes you?"

Walt chuckled. "She does for some strange reason."

Bob smiled. "Then as long as you're both happy and do right by each other, if you'll pardon my french, fuck reasons. Go be happy."

Walt smiled too. "Sound advice. Thanks Bob."

Bob smiled. "You're welcome, Walt."

From outside they hear. "Yo somebody left a mad phat, Gothic bunnygirl shortstack! 'Sup baby? Youse wanna see my carrot? Know what I'm saying?"

Then Ravens voice. "In your dreams stoner."

Bob rolled his eyes. "I better get out there before Jay gets himself in trouble. Apologies he's got no filter."

Walt chuckled. "It's fine. I prefer unfiltered sometimes."

They exited to find a lanky blond guy in street clothes playing with Zwei. "Sup pooch! Youse wants some Scooby snacks? Got them from a Shaggy?" He sees Bob. "What took you so long?"

Bob points to Walt and Raven then mimes chatting.

Jay shakes his head. "You know for a "Silent" character you're sure a chatty Cathy sometimes. 'Sup, I'm Jay and this is my Hetero life mate, Silent Bob!"

Bob waves hello.

Walt chuckled. "Howdy boys. Walt, Raven and the good boy there's Zwei!"

"Charmed," Raven rolled her eyes. She grabbed Walt's arm. "Well we've got to get going now that the rains stopped. Later."

She starts dragging Walt and Zwei away as Jay goes, " Holy shit, Silent Bob! You know who that was?"

Bob shrugs and shakes his head.

Walt sighs about to get recognized and starts quickly moving away.

"That wasn't just some tricked out mad phat goth bunnygirl! That was a Teen Titans Raven mad phat bunnygirl!"

Jay starts singing an improvised version of the Teen Titans theme to Walt's and Raven's amusement.

She shook her head. "Ok, annoying but amusing."

Walt nodded. "And relatively harmless. Friday. Inform the park staff to keep them out of trouble as long as they don't make too much of a nuisance of themselves."

Walt looked at Raven as they walked along. "You feel better?"

She squeezed his hand. "A bit. I'm still a little unsteady. I'm sorry for the-"

Walt picked her up again. "Nonsense. No trouble at all. I am happy like this as long as you are, Rae. I..." he brushed her hair behind her ear. "I like you."

Raven turned beet red as her heart skipped and then hammered furiously in her chest. The attraction, desire, was still there but there was that other feeling she felt so many times before again. Safe. Adored. Cared for... loved. She saw he was blushing too but he confidently strode along towards an open space. "What-?"

Friday started playing music as Walt, still carrying her in his arms, started dancing. "You requested dancing, Rae."

She shook her head. "I don't know what I was thinking! It's impossible like this!"

Walt grinned and twirled. "It's not. I'll dance for the both of us. Just like this."

He did. He swayed, and swung her around and dipped to the music.

"You're a fool," she said.

Walt nodded. "I am sometimes."

She was still blushing but started to laugh. "And you don't care?"

Walt smiled. "Oh, I care. About lots of important things. But that ain't one of them. Especially right now."

She understood. "I... I like you too!"

Walt grinned and held her a bit tighter. "You do?"

Raven smiled and nodded. "I do!"

Walt laughed and so did she. They "danced" happily as Zwei bounced along with them.

Raven blushed though. "Does this mean...?"

Walt shook his head. "Only if you really want to... but I want you to decide that when you are ready and clear headed, Rae." He smiled. "As long as you're happy and I do right by you, that's good enough reasons by me."

She nodded. She felt "ready" or at least her body definitely was. But he wanted her to be certain, all of her. She knew if she'd given into her desires earlier he'd have been a wonderful lover like the others had described... but now, hearing his genuine feelings for her and seeing it in his actions yet again, her heart echoed her desires.
