Thursday Pt 7 A Big Pain

((Walt, Raven. A situation has arisen."))

Walt sighed with a heavy feeling in his gut starting up. "What happened, Friday?"he asked slipping on the Mk32 scouter. Raven pulls out her glasses.

(("A PWBI prisoner transport has been breached in the vicinity of the park. As it's one of ours they're asking for assistance."))

Walt nodded. "Right. Have the stationed characters begin surveillance and monitor the situation. Non Lethal take downs if possible please but the protection and safety of the park patrons is the priority. Have our escort unit change priority and provide immediate assistance." He looked at Raven who nodded and he and Zwei did too moving in that direction. "We're moving to assist."

(("Understood. Relaying tracking and surveillance information."))

Walt dashed through the park. Friday began showing the various "enemy" locations as well as the few PWBI agents on scene and arriving ones and the 3S agents as well.

"What the heck is that?" Raven asked as Walt sighed.

"Just great... a "Hulk" mod... too many of these things just showing up lately." Walt sighed. "At least it already looks damaged for some reason." He sees it start to rip apart a power armored PWBI suit with a blond haired character struggling. "We have to help her. Zwei lead any bystanders away! Raven get her out of there while I grab it's attention!"

Zwei barked and ran off while Raven began telekineticly pulling the armor suited lady out of its grasp. Walt broke left, his revolver in his hand firing at the Hulk.

The bullets did no real damage but they succeeded to annoy the creature and it roared at him as he released the armored agent. It covered it's face with one arm while groping around. Finding a bench it threw it at Walt. Walt dodged out of the way and reloaded. "Great I got it's attention. Now to keep it. Hey big guy! Yeah you! Town ain't big enough for the both of us!"

"GRAAAH! INTERLOPER!" Shouted the Hulked out guy.

Walt blinked. "He's still got some intelligence? Nuts! Yeah. That's right! Whatever your game is I'm shutting it down punk! It's over!"

The Hulk guy didn't like that. "URRGAAH! THEY'RE MINE! FAIR GAME!" He rips a lamppost out of the ground and starts charging at Walt.

Walt sees Raven look at him and nod. The woman's ok. Zwei is leading some folks away. "Alright then follow me!"

He starts running quickly through the park leading the limping Hulk guy away. He keeps firing at it to keep its attention focused.

His coms activate. "Walt, Raven. She's safe. How can I help?"

Walt dodged a Boulder. "Check the PWBI wreckage and gather all the gas canisters they have. I got 3S coming with more. These guys are tough but weak to gas attacks temporarily. If we knock him out of the fight-"

Walt gets clipped by flying debris. *Dammit! I liked this suit!* He fires back at the thing. "Sorry. If we can knock it out temporarily it can be neutralized. Get that gas and a couple masks for you and I, thanks!"

(("Boss, the park has been completely evacuated. The other targets have been rounded up. Lead him 15° degrees south from your current heading."))

"Understood!" He dodges a tree to the left and realizes that was a mistake looking at the rise. He's boxed in. He holsters the gun and pulled his knife. "Alright smart guy! Let's dance!"

"AAAAAH!" the Hulk swings at him and grabs him. Before he can crush him though Walt stabbed his hand with the bowie. It easily penetrates his skin making him howl with surprise and pain releasing him in surprise.

Walt hits the ground sprinting between his legs pausing long enough to sucker punch the Hulk in the bum knee hard as he passes. "Sorry jerk. I don't fight fair."

"ARRRGH!" The Hulked out guy roars clutching his wounded hand and knee. He turns and tries to grab Walt but Walt is pulled away by telekinetic force.

Walt grins at Raven. "Good timing! Thanks!"

Raven smiles. "You're welcome! You sure know how to show a girl a good time! Mask!" She tosses a gas mask to him. "Do we fight?"

Walt shakes his head. "Not if we don't have to. Follow me and deflect what he throws at us!" He takes her hand and they start running.

Raven deflects what the Hulked guy throws or tosses it back at him. "Good thing it's got that bum leg slowing it down! How'd you hurt it with the knife?"

Walt nodded. "It's made of rare metals and special to boot. But fighting one of these things directly is a pain! The more damage they take, the pissier they get. It'd destroy the park!"

The Hulk eyes Raven evily. "MINE! MASTERPIECE!"

"Great. I've got an admirer." She deadpans making Walt laugh. "You're not my type, creeper!"

Walt nodded. "Sorry-" he checks the data Friday has collected on this guy and sees his name,"Phil! The lady is spoken for and she's my date! Get your own if you can, loser!"

Raven looks at Walt squeezing his hand and he grins as they both laugh! As wild dates go this is pretty far up there!

This seems to enrage Phil-Hulk even more. He throws a boulder at them and Raven launches right back into his nuts! Walt winces as that stuns the Phil-Hulk for a moment before he blindly pursues them howling as they lead him right into the trap.

Walt nods at Raven and she does too. Slipping their gasmasks on Walt says, "Now!" as Raven launches the Gas canisters she'd recovered from the wreckage.

(("Now.")) Says Friday to the 3S operatives who'd set up the trap to discharge their own gas and the force inhibiting restraints.

"Now!" Shouts the arrived PWBI agent in charge on the scene, Carrie Kelley, directing her forces to fire their gas canisters as well.

Phil-Hulk finds himself choking on the gas. The cables are made out of something that he can't tear and several types of forces start bearing down on him. Telekinesis, gravity control and magnetism among others. The gas has the intended effect and makes him woozy.

There's loud footsteps as Banner-Hulk walks over to Walt. "Hey, Boss. That worked. Here's your hat. Your dog found it," he says handing it over to him.

Walt grins. "Thank you Bruce. Zwei." He puts the hat on goving them a nod. "Did you bring the the degammafier?"

Banner chuckles. "I did. I'll go take care of him for our PWBI friends now. Then we can remove the hulk mod."

Walt smiled. "Good." He sees Carrie walk over. "Nice timing and good to see you by the way!" He turns making introductions. "Carrie, Bruce, Raven."

Carrie grins. "Good to see you too! You left your bat mask behind, I see!"

Raven laughed. "He's going to make Lucious work on it!"

They all laugh and turn to Phil who's reverted to human and passing out. "Sorry son. There's always a bigger bull."

"Between you and me, he's the source of all the illegal Hulk mods making the rounds," Carrie said bringing them up to speed. "The guys a real sicko too! Likes to use characters as his canvases for his twisted, "masterpieces". He and several others, as well as various contraband, were being transported when his time delay hulk mod went off."

They watch as several other would be escapees are lead away as well as contraband and seized properties being recovered. "At least no one escaped or got seriously injured," Raven said.

The dark-skinned blonde from before apologizes. "Sorry. When the warning went off, I went to activate the built in restraining inhibitors in the transport but spilled my coffee. It was really, really hot and the computer went "spark, fizzle, pop"! While I was trying to fix it the autopilot switched destination from "prison" to "park" and then here we all were!"

Carrie's eyebrow twitched in irritation but she remained professional. "Walt, Raven this is Detective Mihoshi Kuramitsu."

Mihoshi shook their hands. "Of the Galaxy Pol- no wait, I mean PWBI! It's so nice to meet you! I mean, we've met before but it's nice to meet you now when it's not a crisis! Not that before was bad. You both were a big help! You should come work at PWBI! We could solve cases together and go on exciting missions! Do you need recommendations? I'd be happy to give you one!"

She starts pulling various odd things out of her pockets and handing them to Carrie, Raven and Walt to hold. "I know I have my cards here somewhere... badge, handcuffs, sandwich. I was looking for that! Playing cards, comic book, pet rock, underwear. Oh my! That's embaressing! At least they're the nice ones! Well I think so. What do you think, Walt?"

Walt coughed trying to hand back the lacey red unmentionable while Raven and Carrie glared at him and Mihoshi. "Uhh... yes. I'm sure they're very nice, Mihoshi. Why don't I just give you my card instead? Here you go." He looked at Carrie. "Do you need any further 3S assistance?"

She shook her head smiling. "No. Let's get you guys signed off on the paperwork and on your way. I'll make sure PWBI reimburses you a for expenses and damages to the park. We appreciate 3S and the Protected Parks Program for their assistance in the matter as well as you and Raven's personal involvement."

"Arf!" Zwei chimed in causing all of them to smile. "And yours as well, Zwei! Thank you!"

They followed Carrie and filled out the necessary paperwork and forms. Several others are there giving their statements as well. Walt helps Bob with his statement since he's pretty proficient in "mime" and Zwei helps with Jay's since left on his own he'd likely just get them in trouble. "Grr... arf!" "Yup. What he said!"

Raven shakes her head and takes Walt's hand. She's surprised when he kneeled down and kisses hers and says, "Thank you, Rae. For everything."

She smiles and says, "You're welcome Walt... let's get out of here!"
