When the Knights of Itheria, led by Sir Garret arrived, There was no trace that King Bryce ever arrived at Castle Luxem. Dismayed, Sir Garret returned to the capital to relay the news. The vassals and lords of the realm quickly turned against each other. Every person with an army attempted to claim the empty throne and Itheria fell into civil war.
