Three days later

The three days you spent acclimating to this new body, shared between yourself and your friend-slash-potential-girlfriend Willow, had been far more fun than you'd expected, particularly with the addition of Lisa's affections into the mix. The first night was awkward, to say the least--you were still trying to understand how you and Willow could work together, and all that really came about was some idle cuddling on the couch after everyone headed out or went to sleep.

The second night, though, everything really clicked. Your half-interleaved mind cleared up, providing you and Willow with this sort of shared knowledge base, where you or her could pretty seamlessly take control on just about any task when the other mind had to tap out. It wasn't like you were really doing much throughout the day, but small things like getting ready in the morning or fixing the garbage disposal or whatever it was, it didn't really matter who was helming the body at that point. Even so, Willow was more than happy to let you drive just about every activity, even times where you were starting to experiment with a little intimacy with Lisa. And then came the third day. Chloe had been quiet throughout the whole process, but she had informed you that after the night of the third day, she'd have enough energy that you could separate again, for about a week. You were shocked, even though you felt Willow's control disappear from your mouth you were stunned silent. Never before had Willow said anything that felt so certain in front of you and Lisa. She was truly content with just following the crowd, but you've provided a different experience for her where she's suddenly not just following Lisa's lead, but taking the lead and planning new activities and trying new things and engaging with Lisa in ways that Willow likely wouldn't have been able to do in a three day span. And she was right, you were really starting to enjoy the body...

But it was hard to just accept. There were other things that weighed on your mind. You had a life, a reputation, that 'Sonja' didn't have. There was no guarantee that everything would last with Lisa forever. Or that you and Willow could truly coexist in the same head indefinitely. Three days was just a small sample size of everything you might have to deal with.

You had to come up with some sort of response though. Deny Willow's request and let Chloe return you to normal at the end of the day? Stay with her forever, building a new life as you took charge of this new body as its primary caretaker? Maybe you could convince her that you needed a few more days to think, but in those few days you could stay combined? You didn't even know if Willow's request was possible yet. But you had to say something.
