Cassie was momentarily in shock. Her teenage daughter was a vampire leaning over to sink her fangs into her neck. Cassie, not having any clue if it would work or not, shot her arm out to the nightstand next to the bed and grabbed the cross she usually wore on her neck. The second she touched the cross Rachael recoiled in pain and backed away. Cassie immediately swung her arm around in front of Shannon, her daughter's friend and lover who tried to bite Cassie while her attention was on her daughter.

Whatever seductive pheromones that were in the room from the vampires were evaporated. Tears coming down her face, Cassie lifted the cross higher to her daughter and friend.

"Mom,...put down the cross. I'm so thirsty" Rachel pleaded wincing in pain.

"We just want you to join us, Mrs. Smith. Think of it, you won't age. It feels so great to be evil, do all the things you aren't supposed to do....but you've always wanted to"

Cassie holds the cross up higher "GET OUT!"

Shannon hisses at Cassie, eyes blazing, grabs Rachel's arm and leaves the bedroom.
