Ash and Dawn had made their way out of the Pokémon-Center and soon left Pewter City, now on their way to Cerulean City, where Dawn wanted to get her second Kanto Badge. Both of them now had three Pokémon on their teams and were looking forward to finding new members they could add to their group. As they walked through the forest towards Mt. Moon, which marked the midway point on the route to Cerulean City, the two sisters talked about their new Pokémon.
"I'm glad to have Viola and Serena on my team now," Ash beamed. "I can't wait to enter a Contest with them!"
"The same goes for me, Sis," Dawn replied. "Misty already did great in the Pewter Gym, together with Chimchar and Shauna the other gyms better watch out!"
"You know, Ashley, with Shauna on your team you could also compete in Contests," Ash suggested.
"You think so?" Dawn asked.
"Yeah, she's the Performer Pokémon after all," Ash told her. "I'm sure the two of you could put on some great performances."
"Well, if my sister wants me as a rival for her Contests, I'll be sure to be tough competition." Dawn joked.
"Oh, we'll see about that," Ash retorted with a smug grin.
The two twins shared a laugh as they continued to joke around a bit more. They continued their conversation as they got closer to Mt. Moon, both sisters hoping to find new Pokémon they could add to their teams.
