Chapter 14 by The Background Conquerer The Background Conquerer

What Happens Next for Moses and Tzipporah?

They reach Midian

After the sandstorm was over, a camel walked past and noticed Moses and Tzipporah's hairs sticking out before sniffed at them and took a bite out of Moses' hair, thinking it was some grass; instead, it brought the man's head out of the sand. Tzipporah heard Moses groan and brought her head up from the sand and was relieved that both Moses and herself were still alive. They both looked up tiredly at the camel until it spat on Tzipporah's head. She groaned, feeling disgusted about the spit on her head. Looking back at the camel their eyes locked onto the full water bag attached to it. The camel walked off and they crawled out of the sand chasing the animal.

Moses: Hey, wait! Please!

Tzipporah: Stop! Come back!

They both latched onto the water bag and were dragged through the desert. After what seemed like a long time, they tiredly held onto the canteen until the camel brought them to a flock of sheep that were drinking at a stone pool. After headbutting into the stone wall, Moses and Tzipporah shook their heads head before realizing where they were. They dunked their heads in, gulping down as much water as they can. Looking up from the water, both caught the eye of a particular ram as it looked at them, almost in disbelief they were there before releasing the water in it's mouth before bleating at them.

Tzipporah: Wait! I recognize this place! I think I know where we are!

Moses: Where are we?

Tzipporah: My home! We're in Midian!

They both heard the sound of screaming. Standing up, the two saw what appeared to be two men messing around at a well, pushing aside the three little girls that were trying to reach it. Tzipporah gasped and got mad seeing the girls get abused like that.

Tzipporah: Those are my sisters!

Hearing that they were her sister and now seeing as they needed to help them, Moses noticed two camels tied up.

Moses: Follow my lead.

The two of them quickly untied the two camels and pulled them along.

Moses: Hey!

The two men turned towards Moses and Tzipporah and they became surprised to see Moses and Tzipporah with their camels. The two men then fearfully realized what the two were about to do.

Moses and Tzipporah: Hut-hut!

They hit the camels' flacks, sending them running without anyone holding the reins and the two men chased after them.

Do Moses and Tzipporah Fall into the Well?
