They make it across

Sadie and Katie jumped to the first platform. They wobbled a bit before they proceeded to regain their momentum.

"Good job!" Katie said

"Thanks. I guess without all my weight these jumps aren't so bad." Sadie responded.

"I told you we could do this." Katie exclaimed but then the shark nudge the platform they were standing on.

"Whoa!" They both exclaimed while sticking their arms out to maintain their balance. They quickly regained their footing and nodded in unison "Let's go". They proceeded to quickly jump across three more platforms. When they went to jump to the next one Katie noticed the shark prowling in the green liquid to their right. Sadie extended her foot out to jump assuming Katie would follow suit, but Katie saw the shark jump out of the pool in an attempt to bite Sadie's leg. "Look out!" Katie quickly yanked their body back and landed their shared rear on the platform they were about to jump off of, pulling Sadie's leg out of the sharks reach.

"OMG, thank you so much." Sadie hugged her friend best she could with her left arm.

"It's okay, besides, what are BFFs for." Katie returned the hug by wrapping her right arm around their shared body.

Blaineley was displeased by the girls sudden affection for one another. "Um excuse me, don't you two have a challenge to complete."

The girls broke off their hug and stood back up and after checking for the shark proceeded to jump to the next platform. They made it to the last jump which looked pretty far. Katie was ready to jump but she felt her left leg hesitate and looked at Sadie's worried face. "Don't worry, we got this." Katie stated

"We do?" Saide questioned.

"Heck yea we do, we're BFFs!" Katie answered

"BEST FRIENDS FOREVER!" They both shouted as they jumped to the end of the pool with their boost of confidence. The girls looked down and realized they had made it across.

"Eeeeeeeee" they both squealed while jumping in the air holding each other's hands, overjoyed that they made it.

"Not so fast girls." Blaineley stated. The girls quit their celebrating and both looked confused at their host. "You still have to cross the finish line." They watched as Blaineley pulled out a remote control and pressed and button. They heard mechanisms working and looked around to find this finish line.
