They hold up for now
Deciding creeping on your employees isn’t ethical, you close the program and get back to work. The rest of your first day is fairly uneventful, just signing forms and setting yourself up. You still feel an air of resentment from all your staff behind your back, but just try to brush it away by convincing yourself if you do your job well they’ll all come around.
Near the end of the day you hold a meeting with your staff, where they explain their current projects and what stage they are on. It all seems mundane, even if you do have difficulty understanding all the technical terms and procedures mentioned. You feel maybe you should weigh in with advice, after all that’s what bosses do right?
