They have their seance

The five trapped people were sitting in the center of the room in the shape of a circle. Their legs were crossed and their hands were held together, forming a connection between them all. Steph would be leading the seance, so she sat as in the middle as possible. Directly across from her was Brenda Nelson, or at least the possessed body of Brenda Nelson.

Simon got up suddenly and looked over at his camera, which was still recording, though at a very awkward angle. "You can do the seance with four people, right Stephanie?" he asked.

Steph nodded. "Call me Steph, I hate being called Stephanie.....But yeah, that should be fine. Why? Are you too scared?" She asked jokingly.

Simon frowned. "Well....I am a bit scared but I also want to film from outside of the circle. That way we can get it in better quality so no one back at school can tell us we didn't actually do it" he said, taking his camera from the stairs and holding it towards the now four people who fixed up their positioning a bit to make due without the fifth person. Steph was now sitting across from Brenda, and between them on either side was Madison and Jake. Simon walked around them, giving the camera a 360 degree look so that no one could question anything.

"Can we get this thing started already?" Jake asked, one of his hands interlocked with Brenda and the other one with Steph. "Don't get me wrong, I love these things as much as the next guy, but as soon as your done getting credit for this stupid dare, I want to find that other pig...ooops, I mean cop, and get the hell out of this house."

Madison giggled. "Wow Jakey, I didn't think you were the type to be so scared" she said, sticking her tongue out as she gave the two other women her hands. "Besides, this circle is one guy and three beautiful woman. Why do you want it to end so fast, huh?" she asked teasingly. Jake just laughed.

"We really should start soon though" Brenda said, holding onto Jake and Madison's hands tightly. "The sooner we find out where Nick is, the sooner we can actually work out a plan to escape."

Steph took a deep breath. "Alright, let's do this then" she said, closing her eyes. Everyone else did the same besides for Simon, who just kept recording. He noticed that the camera didn't seem to lose any charge, despite not being able to turn off or stop recording for the past few hours. That was weird, but he didn't think much of it.

Simon knew he should be scared from this whole experience, being stuck in a house that was known for being haunted and having nothing outside but pure darkness. He also knew that having a seance in said haunted house was nowhere near a smart idea, yet it was as if something was preventing his brain from registering that. He had no idea that this same effect was happening with everyone else as well. It was as if their rational thoughts had been shut off, allowing them to fall right into what the house wanted of them.

The demon wearing the skin of Brenda Nelson, knew that this was happening with the other visitors and just grinned. The Old Man was still inside of this house somewhere and still had a minor enough hold on these young people to prevent them from making the proper logical decisions. He was making everything very easy for Brenda's siblings to strike. They could have made their move at any time, but the apparent Brenda knew that they wanted to be a bit more flashy with it. She would be happy to assist them in their fun. "Go on" the supposed cop said to Steph with a smile. "I believe in you. Let's begin" she said, making sure to speak in a reassuring voice in order to give the girl confidence.

Steph smiled, feeling reassured. "Okay, let's do this" she said. "Everyone close you eyes and concentrate..." she said, beginning the procedure that she had read about so many times before. Simon watched from the nice corner he had found as Stephanie began leading her breathing exercise, having everyone take deep breathes to channel their energy supposedly. Simon didn't believe in this whole seance thing and he didn't think that Steph believed in it either, but it was definitely an interesting way to pass the time here while waiting for Officer Nelson's partner to come find them. Simon wondered what was taking him so long. He tried to take a step forward to get a different angle, but frowned. for some reason, Simon was unable to move his foot. He tried moving his hands but couldn't do that either. He was like a statue. He tried to call out to the others, but found that he couldn't even move his mouth to speak. This was freaking him out. Simon felt sweat dripping down his face as worry and fear filled him up.

Simon could only watch what happened next in absolute horror. Stephanie began reciting the Latin spell that she had learned, but midway through it she started to make a strange noise, as if she were **** on something. Steph had to release the others from the circle as her body began shaking and spasming. Simon thought it might have just been an effect of the lighting, but it looked like her eyes were glowing red as she shook. The others opened their eyes and freaked out, watching Stephanie, unsure what to do. Officer Nelson went over to her first and knelt down next to Steph, who was still shaking violently. She placed a hand on Steph's back and seemed to be whispering something into her ear. Simon assumed she was trying to calm Steph down.

After several seconds, the shaking finally stopped and Brenda helped Steph to stand up. Steph ran her hands over herself and a huge smile appeared on her pretty face. "Are you alright?" Jake Masters asked, clearly worried. Madison's face also showed concern.

Steph smiled at them both, putting her hands on her hips. "Oh, I'm much more than alright. But that is more than I can say for Stephanie" she said as her eyes glowed bright red. Madison let out a scream and moved backwards, while Jake held his ground. Steph put a hand on his chest and grinned at him. "My, aren't you brave? Too bad for you that bravery is something that will get you killed!" she said as Simon watched her pull some sort of energy out from Jake's chest. The energy flew into her mouth as Steph laughed. "Mmmm, I haven't eaten in such a long time. That tasted sooooooo nice" she said with a grin. Jake's body became stiff, standing at attention. "Why don't you help Brenda restrain your girlfriend?" she asked with a smile.

To Simon's surprise, Jake nodded. "Of course, mistress" he said, walking in Madison's direction. The prostitute was already being held in spot by Brenda, but she was trying her best to escape from her holding. Steph, or at least Steph's body, walked over to Madison with an evil grin on her face. She put her hand on Madison's cheek and felt her face over.

"My, you're very pretty. Of course, the body that I am currently wearing is pretty as well. Even that police officer that is now nothing more than a meat suit is pretty. I really struck gold with you people entering me, didn't I?" she asked, in Steph's voice.

"Wh-who are you..." Madison said, tears falling from her face as she became restrained completely by the possessed cop and soulless Jake.

Stephanie licked her lips before answering. "I am the demonic embodiment of this house. For all intents and purposes, I am this house. I control everything about it. I can make it look however I want, move rooms at will, and alter and control its occupants in whatever way I see fit. That's why statue boy over there hasn't moved since he started filming" she said, pointing at Simon. "It's also why none of you fools realized how idiotic it was to host a fucking seance here instead of freaking out about being trapped. It's also how I can do this" she said as she snapped her fingers. Suddenly, Madison's dress disappeared and was replaced by an incredibly skimpy maid's outfit. "Come here, boy" she said motioning to Jacob. Jacob nodded and moved next to Madison's body. Steph's hand moved to Jake's chest. Her eyes glowed crimson as Jake's empty body shifted and changed, turning into what looked like a cat. It let out a meow and purred as she pet it.

Tears streamed down Madison's cheeks. "You're a monster..." she said, causing Steph to let out an evil laugh. "Monster? Haven't you been listening, you stupid girl? I am a demon! Not just any demon, either. I can control the reality of this house at will, but I can also create my own demons, branching off from my consciousness to move outside of the house and find my more prey.

"That's what she did to me" Brenda said, as her own eyes glowed red. "I was created by her to take one of those police meat suits so that I can leave the house and find more people to bring in. It'll be really easy. All I have to do is find an excuse to get someone into my cop car, then I just drive them over here and watch the fun. It's a pretty good gig, I have to admit" she said with an evil grin.

Then Steph looked right at Simon. "You can come here. Stand next to Ms. Mason" she said, picking up her newly created cat and petting it. As Simon was **** to walk over, he noticed that Steph's close changed from jeans and a t shirt into an elegant gown. She then looked at Madison. "By the way, if you're wondering how I know your last name, it's because I can see into the memories of all who enter my domain. Steph took the camera out of Simon's hand and it was soon consumed in black flames. "Now...what to do with the two of you...." the possessed Steph said, grinning evilly as her eyes continued to glow brightly.
